GYMWorkout Jockstrap with 2" Waistband

A jockstrap is something you don't want to be thinking about while you're engaged in physical activity. If you're thinking about your supporter, it's probably not providing support.A jockstrap ought to fit snugly around the hips and groin. An athletic supporter that is stretched out is not only otiose but distracting. When I'm swimming a mile at the pool, I don't want a flaccid jockstrap sticking out of my swimsuit. That's embarrassing and useless. And I sure don't want one that is so stretched out in the basket part that it doesn't protect my private parts.My new jockstrap is designed to fit around the hips, well of sight. It has a broad elastic waste band and fits like another layer of skin over my private parts. I can swim comfortably now, confident that I am not showing in the back or hanging out in front. Nobody swims with their groin. Now I can focus now on my arms, legs, and stroke mechanics—which are what really count.

I have only ever used jockstraps, since my skin is allergic to compression shorts. I was apprehensive when Bike sold off their classic jockstrap line to "Gym". The reviews had me fearing this thing would fall apart in weeks. My wife machine washed and dried this jock for the first few months (an average of 2-3 times per week). It did seem like this was slowly wearing out the elastic, so I started just wearing it into the shower for a rinse, wring it out, and then I let it air dry. Cleaning the jock this way has returned it, more or less, to it's original shape and the durability isn't showing signs of fading, after several months. I'm very happy with the value of this jockstrap.

I’ll cut to the chase. Fit is fine. Fairly comfortable. The issue is that the stitching for the strap is coming away from the waistband. I read other reviews reporting the same fate, and saw one guy saying if you look after them properly and make sure they don’t get caught on anything during the washing. And drying process, they will be fine. Well, I’ve only washed them a few times, and then I let them air dry. Yet still, the stitching is coming apart. So, either the craftsmanship is sub-par, or my junk is too big, and/or my ass is too big and is pulling at the stitching. I’m a decent size up front but not huge, and I miss leg and ass day way too much, so my money is on the way this jockstrap is manufactured. Shame.I should’ve listened to the negative reviews.

This jock strap is exactly what I sought. It fits perfectly and I'm a 34-35 inch waist and bought a medium. Straps cup my ass cheeks nicely and the waist band is the perfect size at two inches. Sorry no pictures to share.

Ok, excuse me for be straight forward in this review but I hope it helps with making a solid informed purchase. I have worn this style jock for years when they were produced by Bike and I was very glad to see they are still around just under a different brand. This is great athletic support! Let me stress that again, ATHLETIC supporter. This is NOT a fashion jock. Everything about this jock is designed for added support of your manhood while you are doing an activity such as being in the gym or playing sport. It offers great support while letting good airflow around groin area. The elastic straps are good and comfortable. The pouch for your junk has good room even for the biggest of our brothers with the elastic threading on the outside of the pouch with a soft moisture wicking material on the inside. I have noticed in other reviews where guys said the elastic threading of the pouch should be on the inside of the jock. WTH! I do not want a rubber band against my skin down there let alone the hair. So honestly these jocks do a great job of supporting you comfortably while you are kicking butt in the gym or in a sport.Take care of your stuff. By this I mean this is like any other sports equipment. If you spent some good money on a pair of expensive training shoes are you going to toss them in the washing machine and hope they come out clean and in good condition. No way! They would Be F’d up. So take the time to hand wash these bad boys and they will last you a damn long time. Big bowl with some warm water and just a little laundry soap in the sink after a couple of wares once a week works. Rinse them with fresh water and hang them up someplace to dry. Do not ring them out. You will start breaking the elastic threads if you do... and yes you need to wash your jocks regularly if you ware them regularly. Sweat has a good amount of salt in it that breaks down elastics.So I bought three pairs and there were no defects on any of them. I sweat a lot in the gym and can only ware the jock about twice before it needs to be washed. I’ll wash them at the end week on laundry day and hang them to dry. They dry in about six hours total.Well brother, hope this review helped. Train Hard.
