time and money saver, very impressed
Really did a great job finding refrigerant leaks. Found two leaks in a very expensive machine that me and a factory tech could not locate with a sniffer. Found them with system pressurized with 200 PSI of nitrogen. Also bought a Chinese $130 unit to compare and that one could barely locate the leaks even after I knew where they were.

Couldn’t catch leak
As $650 leak detector I fell disappointed. It maybe works for other situations but the leak I tried to addressed couldn’t found by this leak detector. I assume this leak detector couldn’t catch small leaks.

Not worth the money
Not at all what I had hoped for. The only refrigerant leaks you are going to find with this are ones that you can hear without equipment and is a lot easier to just use a refrigerant leak detector or bubbles. After months of not using it and taking up space in the van, I tossed it in the corner of the garage.

Found a leak in an attic a-coil that regular leak detectors would not pick up, even with trace gas and nitrogen, in about two seconds…

It doesn't seem to like any batteries
I really wanted to like this thing. I used once when I first got it and loved it. Just went to use it again and it won't stay on. I've tried different battery brands even though I'm reading 9volts with my multimeter. Can't seem to contact anyone to help me with this issue
