Silhouette America Silhouette Connect Plugin Download Card

I do almost all of my vinyl cutting from CorelDraw. When I upgraded from my Silhouette SD to Silhouette Cameo, I lost the ability to send the job directly to the cutter. With the SD, I had installed the Craft Robo driver and was able to "print" directly to the SD from CorelDraw - you had to have your document setup just right, and there was a bit of tinkering you had to do, but it worked.With the Silhouette Cameo, I discovered that I needed the Connect Plugin to cut directly from CorelDraw. Amazon had the best price, so I ordered it here. When the card arrived, I downloaded the Connect plugin software from the Silhouette website, installed the plugin, and activated it using the the code from the card. After using the plugin for the first time, I found the Connect Plugin to be much better than the method I was using before.In CorelDraw, the Connect Plugin lives under the Application Launcher button on the toolbar. Click on the button then on "Send To Silhouette Connect", and your artwork pops up in the Connect window (see pic). From here you can move your art around on the canvas (drag & drop), set page orientation, change cutting mat, material, and advanced options - all from a single interface. If your preferred design software isn't Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw, this might not excite you much, and if you don't use either of them, you don't need this plugin at all. For me, I think it's great because it makes the entire process very easy and I can cut right from the design software I prefer - without having to export, import into another program, make adjustments, and then cut. Well worth it.

I work in Illustrator on a mac and work with pretty complex shapes. Sometimes not so complex but I was done with Silhouette Studio crashing every time I would open an illustrator file (I have the business edition of Studio). I know I can also save as an svg but if you are paying attention to detail, there are some minor shape changes that take place in the conversion. I need precise shapes. This plugin was the rescue I needed. I wish they could just email the code but amazon had fast enough shipping in my area that it was okay. Seems like my upgrades for Silhouette Studio (designer edition and business edition) are wasted at this point because of this plugin but it is what it is.

This does exactly what it said it would. It connects my drawings from CorelDrawn and Adobe Illustrator to my Silhouette Cameo for cutting. Works great.

The plugin did not work and I have all the requirments. It was a card sent through the mail and took a week to receive. then I was supposed to go the the web site and enter the number and the card to activate. Why did I have to want for a card to be sent in the mail when all I needed was the number on the card. I think it was a scam but I don't know what to do about it.I would give this product no stars. it was a rip off.

This makes transferring my designs from Illustrator CS5 so easy. Once I have created my design, I just send it to the silhouette and adjust the cut settings based on what project I am doing. So nice to be able to use the program I have always used and still get awesome results.

The product works exactly as advertised, and that part I love. Being able to use Illustrator directly with my Silhouette machine is amazing.What I don't like, is why I couldn't have just been emailed the card number or an activation code? Why did I need to wait 2+ days for them to mail me a physical one-time use scratch off card? I could have been back to cutting within minutes if this was digital. The product execution is dumb and I expect better as it's 2017. This is just wasteful and irresponsible.

It took me a bit to get this all figured out, but now I love having Connect. I can build anything in Adobe Illustrator that I want and sending it to my Silhouette Cameo is as easy as pushing print.

Jeder der Corel Draw sein „Eigen“ nennt sollte sich dieses Plugin zulegen. Endlich keine Im- und Export Probleme mehr, kein Nacharbeiten da das dxf-File nach dem Öffnen in Silhouette Studio dann doch anders als erwartet aussah.

Eccezionale! era ora che silhouette mettesse in commercio un plug in, per poter sfruttare il plotter direttamente da illustrator, il software silhouette è un po limitato. consigliato per chi come me usa illustrator.
