Excellent
Opened and used immediately. Used chicken stock in place of water and made with sautéed onions and mushrooms with bowtie pasta, kasha varnishkas, terrific. Used the leftovers next day with breakfast omelet. Love the product, TY.

Really Good Kasha
The best kasha I’ve found. Tastes nutty with a nice texture. Very good value.

Fantastic!
My mother used to make this and I finally found it again after a few decades of not seeing it for sale anywhere. Kasha cooks up more easily than rice (doesn't stick) and when cooked plain, or mixed with diced vegetables, it tastes great. Very glad I found this brand which is roasted and ready to go.

Buckwheat Isn't Just for Pancakes
I love this stuff. Sadly, my local supplier stopped carrying the product due to lack of demand, but I was pleased to find it online. The price may be a bit higher than others on Amazon, but the quality is outstanding. Much better than the product I had been buying from bulk. Highly recommend, and will purchase again.

A delicious whole grain....
I've never been disappointed by this product. It can be made up as a hot breakfast cereal, similar to oatmeal, or as a savory side dish.... Kasha Varnishkes - Jewish style Buckwheat Groats With Noodles -- a dish well known to people of Eastern European heritage.

From chiana
I do not eat anything from china. Will be throwing it away.

Toasted?
Buckwheat has a very even brown coating to look as though it is toasted. Color seems like it is just a coating that is basted on. Buckwheat does not taste like roasted buckwheat that I have had before. Some of the coating comes off during cooking. Buckwheat tastes good but not like freshly toasted.
