I've been using one of these for a while now, as I am trying to phase out matches. It's an incredible tool and I give them to everyone I know that has log burners. Using them is so easy, but the instructions provided are not very clear - you slide the orange section forward and press the black button below to light it.Recharging is quick made easier because it uses the same micro USB lead as other rechargeable tools.

It has a flexible neck too and easy to use. The features are as described on the Amazon's listings. Excellent price, packaging and delivery. I highly recommend it.

It works well, once I understood how it operates, you have to push the hard orange plastic cover towards the electrode, and then press down on the flexible switch underneath, this last part was not immediately carried out !From that point on, it lights all candles as required, no more matches, no more risk of burning fingers trying to light candles

If I disregard how cool it is and just go with functionality it's pretty good. Does the job a lighter does but gets into longer candle holders that require nerves of steal if using fire so I'd definitely recommend on that.Then there is the added joy of the fact it's really cool and shoots lighting across two points which lights the candle. The zap noise it makes is really satisfying. Plus it's rechargeable so easier than filling lighter fluid or disposing of lighters all the time.

Works great. Used on bbq, candles outside, inside. No issues. Charged once when first got it and not charged it again since. Dad was well impressed so got him one too. Got a nice safety feature which covers the button when not in use so you can’t accidentally taser yourself (I can’t imagine that would be pleasant!)

Easy to use. I bought two, one to light paper in log burner to get it going and another to light a candle. Both instances worked fine and easy to use and charge up with supplied micro usb cable. I think there safer than having a butane lighter and no faffing about putting gas in which for me was always a pain.

Bought one as a gift, it was so popular, I bought more of them as gifts and one for myself.The battery comes fully charged and lasts ages. Brilliant if you have a gas fire or cooker.

I charged it once when I first got it, and have used it loads since then and not recharged it at all, it's still going strong. It's so clever how it just ignites the wick/paper without any mess or fuss from lighter fluid or matches. Brilliant!
