I typically wear a size 12/14 in pants and ordered the X-large in these panties. I was concerned that these are advertised as "low rise," but the side straps are stretchy enough that they come up high enough on the sides of my hips to be flattering.. The front is extremely low, which is what I wanted for tanning purposes.. The material looks similar to swimsuit material, so that is what I am going to be wearing them for. along with some triangle bikini tops that I own. Originally got these for my girlfriend during sex but she likes them so much that she wears them all the time. The stitching and quality is good. Even with pulling/stretching them during the deed, there are no rips or tears like some cheaper thongs I've bought in the past. A+
