Vander's Human Physiology: The Mechanisms of Body Function

The material is very well organized and presented in such a way that makes its learning easier. The book is full of pictures and diagrams. Many questions throughout each chapters enable the reader to apply the learned content to practical cases and to verify his degree of comprehension.

it is an excellent book, every practitioner must have a copy in any version, the printed or electronic. I have both Dr. Atef Gabrael, a medical graduate since 1965. Yes I have been a medical doctor since 1965 and I am still reading physiology. I think every doctor should be up to date, in the basics, physiology and anatomy.

really amazing book, I rented it and decided to buy a copy for referencing in the future. I had the joy of using this book in connection with a class taught by the author and I can not say enough good things about this text.

super cheap compared to non-international version. Descriptions can be a unclear and slow you down but diagrams are very helpful

Pretty decent book! I'm using it for Physiology class and it is pretty easy to read with good explanations.

Great textbook. Very straightforward and organized. Easy to read and uncomplicates the course material!

Sentences can be too long making to hard to understand. Some sentences can but 3/4 of a paragraph. Likes to be redundant. The author should be more concise

What a great textbook. Good diagrams and good explanations. The content is well-ordered and the index provides clear direction to what you are looking for.
