Works for QSP Workers Knife!
Used this on my Workers knife because it lacks a thumbstud and this fits perfectly and allows me to open it up with one hand now.Purple or Blue Loctite recommended so you don't lose your investment!

Good Stud
Fit my Buck 110 perfectly. Easily tightened and easy to adjust for the perfect fit. Once I found a comfortable spot for it I noticed it does not interfere with the sheath. Well made and feels solid. Will use a dab of lock tight once I find the final mounting spot.

Fast and easy
I got this thumb stud for a big Voss folding hunter with ox horn scales. The ox horn version is slim and smooth so I knew it would take longer to wear a hole in my back pocket and wouldn't feel like carrying a short tire iron. Since I was a teenager I'd known how to open a lockblade folder one handed with a little thumb pressure on the blade once it was broken in. It's an invaluable skill when one hand is tied up and you need to slice something fast as you often will on the job or around the farm. The problem with the Voss was that between the smooth rounded edge ox horn grip, the well polished blade that came sharp enough to do expedient field surgery, I couldn't use my old method quickly without grave risk of amputating a couple of digits. I recalled there used to be a clip on thumb stud device years ago when I didn't need one so I got to looking. The Kwik Thumb Stud was just the device I remembered and I fired off an order for one in classic brass. After I found the right spot for optimal leverage on a 4 inch blade I was ready to start packing the Voss daily. Made me feel like a kid again. Must be that second childhood they talk about.

Great Idea, Solid Execution
I've always hated set screws. They always seemed like a solution that was doomed to fail from the start, like wall anchors. But, man, does it work here. I threw this little gadget on my Buck 110 and it is going nowhere. It mounts just about anywhere on the bottom half of the blade and locks up securely. It does snag a bit with my custom cross draw leather holster, but not so badly that it is show-stopping. If you use the factory leather holster, you should have no issues. With this baby installed, opening one-handed is a lot easier. The finish on the stud is a nice bright brass, and it matches the 110's bolsters so well that my lady thought it was an original part of the knife, not an add on. That's saying a lot for something like this.As a bonus, it seems to work on several other knives as well. I tried it on my Browning 111C and it worked quite well. It should do euallly well for other 110-inspired folders, provided the blade thickness is about the same.If you're thinking of buying this, save yourself some time and just buy it. You won't regret it.

A great accessory for my Buck 110
This is a fantastic accessory for my Buck 110 folder. It installs in just a few seconds and really does make it possible (and easy!) to open the blade one-handed. I wish that Buck offered a built-in thumb stud on the model 110 (at least as an option), but until/unless they do, this is great to have. The only gripe I have is that it catches on the inside of the nylon?) sheath that came with the knife, but I see that as more of a problem with the sheath than with the Kwik Thumb. Other reviewers have said there's no such issue with the leather sheath, but I haven't tried it myself. Now that I think about it, though, I have a Schrade Old-Timer folder that may need one of these as well...

Grab one now, these are terrific
A few years back, I picked an old Buck 112, with the plan to make it my EDC work knife. It had a broken blade, so I sent it off to Buck for a replacement. It came back in amazing condition. However, it was a bit stiff for one and operation. so it sat in a drawer for a few years. Until I happened to run across this Thumb Stud on Amazon. Thought I would buy one and give it a try. I am so happy I did.It makes my old 112 perform like a new knife. One handed is no problem. I had been concerned the Thumb Stud might make the 112 feel bulky in my pocket. That hasn't been the case at all, it isn't really noticeable at all. I had worried the stud would loosen and be a problem, that hasn't happened, it's still rock solid.I'm probably going to pick up another for my old Buck 110.
