Satisfaction when packing, not as much when actually using
I went on my first euro trip alone and read all about the products that would make life easier while traveling. I purchased the towel in grey that also comes with a smaller one. I loved how lightweight it was and how well it packed into my small luggage. It did its job at several hostels, when I went into the ocean, or had a picnic on the grass, even as a little emergency blanket. It was great when I had to quickly move from one place to another and my towel didn't have enough time to dry because I showered that morning. It never smelled. The tag was also great to use with hooks in hostel showers.I washed it about once a week for 8 weeks of almost daily use. The fact that it was so compact and not smelly are really why you buy a microfiber towel like this. However, the down side to this is you just don't want to use a microfiber towel (of any kind) for 8 weeks or any prolonged use. They're not satisfyingly absorbent, its like wiping yourself with a fabric shower curtain. They dry fast because they don't really dry you. A fluffy towel was a luxury I really missed when I was on the road.Nothing in life is perfect so we must compromise. If you're not going on super long trips I don't think you'll have an issue with the towel for its compactness and lack of a stench outweigh not feeling as dry as you'd like. And you're also helping save elephants. But if I was doing another long trip I might look into a turkish towel.

Best I've found for drying feet and washing back
size is optimal for washing adult back by oneself - even if you are "not limber" or "active-athletic" - One arm above over head and one arm behind back (good for between legs too). Feet always need a good drying after a shower - and this allows one to get between toes and into the "pad" of the foot where moisture can collect. Since not "plush" - dries most quickly and even the longer "more like a sheet towel than standard bath" - fits nicely in the washing machine with other micro-fiber clothing to make a "small load". Not "just for travel or the gymn". Color is attractive - not "neon" ish as if "sports!!!".

Perfect for travel!
I bought this towel for two of my friends before they went off on a backpacking trip and they loved them! They are a great gift for a traveler! A text directly from them "At our first hostel and just had the chance to use our towels!! They're great!! I love having the face one as well ♥." Then messaged me an hour later saying the towel was already dry!

Perfect travel towel
I bought the medium size for a 5 week trip to Guatemala where I brought only a small carry on backpack. This towel dries my body easily after a shower and has plenty of absorbancy to spare. It is light weight. It dries quickly. It has a loop of strap with a snap to conveniently hang it for drying. It is small size for packing. It is the perfect travel towel and I can find no fault with it. I am 100% satisfied. Just buy it and think about the next problem, this one is solved.

worked great
used these for a recent trip to europe. wanted some towels for the beach but didn't want to pack actual towels. The XL was large enough to wrap around me. They absorbed the water well but dried quickly. We also found them handy for using like a picnic blanket. Don't want to sit on the ground, throw this down to keep from having to wash those jeans again. I did wash them before use, so not sure if that helped them to be more absorbent. Also, expect a thin travel towel. These are not meant to be luxurious.

Great travel towel!
I love this towel! I commute by bike to work 3 days a week and I bring this towel so I can shower at the office. It takes up very little room in my pack and it’s very absorbant. I’m a medium sized woman (I wear a size 8) and it’s large enough to wrap around myself just a regular bath towel. I wash it at least 3 times a week and hang it up to dry. It still feels and looks brand new.

Towel = Perfection!
I LOVE THIS TOWEL! I use it for the lake, shower, drying my hair, working out (perfect for yoga!) and more and it’s absolutely fantastic. I liked it so much I went back and got all three colors. They're perfect to have around the house or in the car with me, too. Great product for a great price!

Dries quickly.
Loved this for a backpacking trip to Europe! The material is a bit hard to get used to at first because it’s so different from a towel but it works great. I got a little overzealous buying the big size, I believe mines an XL, and it’s huge. A few times it touched the floor when hanging to dry in the hostels and it’s very absorbent so I definitely didn’t need to have a huge one it was just more to deal with trying to keep off the floor in the hostel bathroom.
