The system is fine. It's pretty fast, small, and reasonably quiet when not under load. And the price is right. BUT... The system I put this in does SMART self-tests daily. The drive that came with this "SSD 256GB", with a fake static serial number of YS202010419728HP, fakes the SMART results: SMART Self-test log structure revision number 1 Num Test_Description Status Remaining LifeTime(hours) LBA_of_first_error # 1 Offline Self-test routine in progress 50% 3320 - # 2 Offline Self-test routine in progress 50% 3320 - # 3 Offline Self-test routine in progress 50% 3320 - ... With it reporting each of the 21 entries as being permanently 50% complete and occurring at the last time a test was requested. As such, I expect the SSD to fail prematurely.
