I use these sponges because all my cookware's non-stick, although the extra scrubbing pads are a nice addition in case I need them some day. They don't have the flaws described on many of other product's reviews: they don't smell, they don't come apart easily and they don't leave traces (dye, other particles). Certainly a great product at great price to replace mainstream brands.

The only thing I didnt like is that they dont have the scrubber scratchy part if they did, maybe it would be more worth the money.

These work okay. I'm still glad to buy these instead of the typical sponges that aren't so eco friendly. My only wish is that the sponges came with souring backs. You don't realize how convenient scouring backs are until you don't have them. I know this pack came with two scouring pads, but it just simply isn't enough.

I ordered these sponges expecting them to be thinner than I would like, but finding sponges without a scrubby pad attached is difficult these days. Seem to remember they advertised that the sponges fought bacteria and therefore not have an offensive odor for a time. Not sure about this last claim as the plastic packaging caused them to turn moldy prior to arrival and I returned the item.

I was looking for a sponge that I could use more than a week and not smell musky...so far so good. I have been using the same sponge for three weeks now and it still doesn't stink. The sponge is easy to rinse, clean and reuse over and over.

These are hard to find for some reason. Most of them have the scratchy thing on one side, I just wanted the plain old sponges and that's what these are. They work great!

My mother wanted basic sponges that didn't have any sort of abrasive materials attached. Don't expect these to last very long, but they'll act as disposable sponges that serve their cleaning purposes.

The sponge left bits of "sponge material" when cleaning the iron grill on our gas stove, so the grill never looked clean. Then it ripped apart with normal kitchen use. I'm accustomed to sponges lasting until they get too dirty to continue using. This one fell apart before it had a chance to get dirty. Perhaps the cellulose material isn't up to the job.

The sponges are OK, but I knocked down stars as their "eco" credentials are questionable. Firstly, the sponges come with 2 free scourers, that are basically the same plastic that comes on ordinary plastic dish sponges. I'd assume most people, like myself, buy these to avoid plastic waste. So I don't know why plastic is provided. Surely some kind of coconut brush can be provided instead?A scourer is definitely needed as cellulose sponges barely touch tough stains, including tea.More worryingly, the sponges leak dye when first used. The suds turn blue/pink etc.Makes me wonder how toxic this is.Did they have to dye the sponges at all? Previous products I bought were undyed.I won't buy again.

Cuts down on plastic as they are cellulose and completely compostable .Also nice to use and cleans well , less scrubbing .I wash them in washing machine , they last several weeks .

This is my second order and I've also given them to friends and family. It always worried me that my discarded washing up sponges might live forever in a landfill somewhere. These are not quite as long-lasting as their polluting counterparts, but by the time one eventually starst to weaken is probably the right time to be changing it anyway. My one quibble would be I wish there were a larger proportion of the scourers per pack, but I buy coconut scourers separately so it's no real hardship. Highly recommend.

I appreciate an eco-friendly sponge but the fact they come in a generic plastic package is disappointing. I will be switch to using clothes for cleaning dishes but will have these handy for bigger cleaning jobs.
