The two outer side pockets are roomy enough for drinks or umbrellas, and one of them has a slit to accommodate handles (ideal for insulated drink cups).The outer shell is quilted and feels durable, and the zippers seem to be good quality. The straps are padded and breathable, which helps them stay comfortable and cool even on long outings. It also comes with stroller straps and a luggage strap so you can hang it or attach it when traveling.The only small downside is that I wish it had a base insert to help it stand upright when it's not fully packed. I love the design of this diaper bag. It is HUGE in comparison to other diaper bags you might buy. It has plenty of internal and external space, along with clips so you can attach it to a stroller. You can fit so many items into this bag, but it has a massive downfall. There is no specific place for bottles to go. My son enjoys milk but on the go the milk has to be kept cold. This bag does not provide an area or pocket that is insulated for bottles of milk, formula, or breast milk. It does have a side pocket that is insulated but it would be more ideal for a cup of coffee or soft drink than for anything baby related. This bag is great it is just lacking a critical component that all new parents need.
