These little things are a life saver, so to speak. I had put on a few too many extra pounds in the last year and my uniform pants were ready to burst open from the pressure. I had actually had to sew on a new Eye Closure Hook onto one pair of them. So I decided to try these instead of purchasing new pants and they do work. They do what they were intended to do and are fairly well hidden under a belt. Although I believe that if they were used on the largest setting that might not be the case as the accompanying zipper would not be able to close up to the point of the belt but that's merely an assumption. They are fairly simple to use and can be used two at a time with a slight overlap. The front and back fabrics will pull away from each other and deform a bit during use. Making it a little taxing to fasten them back if one needs to open and close them a time or two throughout the day but they are quite tough and I don't think that they will break under pressure too easily. Although I do feel that they would benefit from being glued or sewn together completely, after the Clips and Eyes are attached, they are very affordable and they do preform well under pressure. With 72 hours before a big event just to find out that your pants don't fit, can put you under a lot of stress. 24 hours later, I received this little lifesaver. It added 2 inches to my pants and boom!! Nobody even noticed it as the belt covered the item.

This product is good for heavy fabric like jeans ect... if wanting to permanently install one on a pair of pants it's very difficult to hand sew one in.

After 3rd use, one of the fasteners broke off and came off the little piece of fabric that it was attached to. They are poorly constructed.
