Great job for a full coverage blackout
The so far has been working great. I needed to use it for reading due to some vision issues in one eye. The patch in incredibly comfortable, and it does a really great job blocking out almost all of the light. I think there is sometimes the smallest sliver near the nose, but honestly it's pretty negligible. The shape itself is very nice, it's wide enough to cover the whole eye, while being soft with it's cushion like padding around the outter edge. Plus because of the 3d shape of the patch and the padding it lends itself to extended wear well.

Useful
I had three partial retina detachment surgeries in under a year, and I lost a majority of the vision in my right eye. Some days, the remaining vision hinders more than it helps, especially as I work on a computer. So on bad vision days I opt to patch it. This patch is soft and comfortable. However it does let a bit of light in at the edge due to the large coverage by the nose. One of these days I will have the confidence to trim it and not be afraid I’ll ruin it. lol

Exactly what I needed. Comfort and fit.
I am currently unable to close my right eye all the way, this patch will help keep it closed at night (with a little gauze inserted), because there is space under the patch for eye motion, both open and closed. This means that it can be worn during waking hours comfortably for either added protection or light sensitivity, you'll just be at a depth-perception disadvantage. The material is very soft and again, I can't say it enough... COMFORTABLE. The strap is plenty big for my very average head and has a sturdy velcro-like method of attachment in the back. If you NEED an eye patch, you've found it, I promise.

Could be great with material improvement
Larger than expected, but offered more protection than other patches. Only issue, and it's potentially a serious issue, is the fabric 'rubs off' on your eye, eyebrow, etc. and could be dangerous for those wearing the patch post-operatively. It was super comfortable, but my ophthalmologist steered me away from it because of potential for infection. If the patch was this high-quality and comfortable, but perhaps made of silk or satin, it would be a definite winner. As it is though, be careful and consult your doctor.

Function and comfort
My child occludes one eye for several hours a day as part of neurological therapy. We have used lots of patches, but this is by far the best. The quality is great and the cloth stays in place. Because of the extra fabric over the nose, it stays in place and actually occludes as it should. Don’t waste your time and money with the plastic or less expensive felt options.

Does the job!
My left eye is, for reasons entirely unknown to me, much more nearsighted than my right eye. I've never worn glasses and do not plan on starting anytime soon, so I got this in hopes of training my left eye to do at least a little better at distance viewing so I'm not so dependent on my right. I don't expect it to block all the light out perfectly, but it gets pretty close and it's comfortable to boot.

When you're forced to wear an eyepatch, this one is great!
Following my husband’s loss of an eye due to cancer, we required a covering for the affected area for outings. The gray shade I selected appears to draw less attention than the standard black patches. It fits my spouse, who is a larger individual, well and provides a means for him to leave the house with dignity.

One of the best eye patches I've used!
It nearly blocks out 100% of the incoming light which is something you rarely get with eyepatches. I wore my glasses over these, and I had no problems walking, sleeping, or using a computer with these and my glasses on at the same time. It provides plenty of room for your eye so you can freely move your eye lid without discomfort.
