スクワイアAffinitySSHからのピクアップ変更に使用。 他にFat50, テキスペを載せた物も使っているので比較になりますが、ストラトらしさは残し、少し軽めの中低域と感じます。 装着Affinityはボディがポプラ材なのでプリッジから手に伝わる振動が大きく感じ若干の影響もあるかと思います。 あくまで個人的な感覚です。

サウンドに関しては特に言うことはありません。しかし取り扱いに関してかなり注意する点があります。 それはかなり断線しやすいピックアップということです。オークション等でもこのピックアップの断線した個体がジャンク品としてよく出品されている印象があります。原因としては、コイルの銅線の巻き終わりの処理がかなり雑な処理をしている物がかなりの頻度であるようです。写真のように私の物は髪の毛より細い線がボビンとPUカバーに挟まれた状態ではみ出したのち一度宙に浮いた状態を経てからボビンのハンダ部分に接続されています。これでは取り付けの際に何かの間違いでピックガード等に接触したりPUカバーに力が加わってズレた瞬間に終わりです。私はシリコンのシール材でコーティングして使っていますが、あまり品質が良い製品とは言えないと思います。見た目も良く音の評価も良いだけに残念な点です。

私が購入した物は、写真と違う同梱物あり。 しかし、付属の配線図は古いまま。 HPにアクセスしても新しい配線図は削除されていた。 幸い必要最低限の電気的知識とギター修理の経験が有ったので、 すんなりと取り付けが出来ました。 初心者の方はギターショップで購入し、そのまま取り付けてもらった方が 得策でしょう。 音は確かにノイズは少なめですが、ギターの材との相性も 多大に影響するので、あまり期待した音にはなりませんでした。 何事もバランスが大事という教訓を得ました。（笑）

Great vintage sound for a reasonable price. I have a 7.25"-12" compound neck radius and I believe the Alnico 3 magnets and flatter pole pieces of the Vintage '56 pups work well with the flat-ish neck radius. The pole under the G string is not as high as it is on other Fender pickups I've tried. My previous pickups (Custom '57-'62) caused the G string to resonate as if it was out of tune with itself if adjusted to the recommended height. I had to lower the pickups too far to make the G string sound normal. I don't have this issue with the Pure Vintage '56 pickups.

Me encanto su sonido, las puse en una squier strat, y la verdad es que tienen una respuesta muy buena. La dinamica del sonido es muy buena, puedes tocar despacio y se escucha calido, limpio el sonido, al darle un rasgueo fuerte a las cuerdas pudes notar las notas, con una claridad muy buena. Las recomiendo ampliamente, a diferencia de las texas spacial, el precio lo vale ya que es mucho mas barata y es de lo mejor de fender en pasillas
