I highly recommend vitargo if you're gassing out mid-workout. I drink 1 scoop with 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder during my workouts. This stuff is a lifesaver, especially during competition prep! It gives me the energy I need to get through my workouts. I use it off-season, too. Lemon-lime is my favorite flavor.It gets clumpy in cold water, so I mix it in hot (not boiling) water in a shaker bottle (letting pressure out after a few shakes), let it sit for a few minutes, then I add ice & shake again. It makes a nice fluffy foam that I consider a pre-workout treat. 😄

I have been using Vitargo religiously every week for over 2 years now and it has played an integral role in helping me to not only build muscles, but enhance my recovery and training sessions to the highest intensity possible. I have tried all of their flavors and you can’t go wrong with any of them. I always switch it up from month to month; usually going through 2 tubs a month.I have tried all of the carb supplements over the years; from dextrose, waxymaize to Cyclic Dextrin, Karbolyn and Vitargo has been my favorite since I started taking supplements over 23 years ago!

Training for a marathon and long runs are starting to go over the 90 minute mark. Normally exercise fasted, but still take a low sugar electrolyte drink. Decided to try Vitargo for the last long run and never doing a long run without this supplement ever again. Ran for 100 minutes on single serving (2 scoops), but could have run longer.Bought the sugarless blend, but added some Gatorade for taste. Has a distinct mouthfeel, but goes down easy. No stomach upset/bloating pre workout, during workout, or post workout. Note: use a shaker bottle and make sure your liquid is added first. Even with the spring, the Vitargo will stick to the bottom of the bottle if you add it to a wet bottle. Also, let it sit in the water for a bit even after shaking. It will dissolve better. Very happy with this purchase!

I thought this was going to be a good product or at least hoped it would seeing as its about $30 more than regular carb drinks. I was wrong and heres why.1. This drink does not mix well at all. Label says 10oz of water per scoop. I put one scoop in 20 oz of water, shook hard and, still a clumpy sticky mess. Same results with 64oz of water as well. Best bet is to let it sit in the coup for 5 minuets and itll slowly melt in.2. I was skeptical about the label at the start. Supplement facts are 35g carbs 35g vitargo. What they should list is the amount of sugar they put in the product. Extremely sweet and like instated above if it doesnt mix right and you drink it you get that sticky carb mix all stuck to your teeth.3. Honestly its overpriced you can get this 30 bucks cheaper if you want a carb drink. I had to try this to see what made it so expensive and I'm disappointed.4. This product is not good if you are looking for a carb drink go somewhere else. I will be attempting to refund this and return it.

Overall this product is great. Make sure to use warm or room temperature water to mix before adding cold or ice otherwise you get the gumming up sticky mess. Flavor is great.Biggest problem for me is the price point and how you don’t get what you pay for. I’ve purchased this product 3 times now and never will again. The first 2 jugs a noticed were being gone through extremely fast so the 3rd jug I tracked it. It was a 50 scoop jar which means 25 servings. I was extremely careful not to waste any each day and use the exact 2 scoop serving size but from the jug claiming to contain 25 servings I only got 14 out of it. To me for the price you pay that’s unacceptable to be that far off. Not worth the money if it’s going to be 11 servings short.

I bought the flavorless and just as advertised, it doesn't have a flavor. Pro- no flavor and other than a little thickening, doesn't effect the taste of the BCAAs I mix with it for a during workout drink. If I am lifting heavy and feel empty at the end of a workout, I'll add a scoop to my post workout whey. I've noticed that my energy levels are more consistent through out a long work out on the bike, swimming or weigh training. I took a star off, because it clumps easily, although I've learned to avoid it most of the time if I shake the heck out of it immediately after adding liquid.

Game changer for an early morning workout!

Watching my son grow into a competitive swimmer, his practices are getting more intense. 5-6 days a week practice for 2.5hrs with occasional twice a days are exhausting to say the least. Recently he'd come home so exhausted he won't eat but a few bites and just go to sleep. Heard about this from a classmate who is a fitness maniac. Skeptical about the price I got the smaller container. What a difference we saw in practice! Usually at the slower end compared to his swimmers in his group and occasionally getting lapped by the faster older boys. After the 2nd day, using the drink he came home more animated and talkative than usual from practice. He was now 5th fastest out of 25 in his group. His muscles are sore after practice but not fatigued like before. He swam 9 miles in practice over 2hrs as they were practicing 1650 free sets over and over... His recovery is much faster and his coaches and co-swimmers have seen the difference. He's able to train harder and longer with improved performance. No side effects so far and been impressed with his results.
