Excellent Work!
Looks and works practically brand new. Well packaged with new 8pin braided USB connector. Touch surface is flawless and looks great. Bottom has the typical white Apple product wear that seems to happen even if you never touch it. But hey, it's the bottom. Only the slightest marking on the left side likely due to this being in a cradle or butted against a keyboard, really need to look hard to notice it.Most importantly it works seamlessly with my late 2012 MBP, 27" late 2009 iMac, and all handheld iDevices. System report show a legit Broadcom chipset, no clone internals. The touch sensor works all the way to the edges and the hard clicks are smooth and quiet. Fantastic work from the seller and tech revitalizing this Magic Trackpad!

If you like Macbook trackpads, get this for your desktop Mac!
I'll admit, this is my second one of these. I bought one to go with my M1 Mac Mini because I was familiar with Apple's trackpads. I also don't care for the Magic Mouse and my Logitech wireless mouse seems to be unreliable with my Mac Mini for some reason - a lot of skipping and jittering on the screen.I bought this one because of the price (I bought a refurbished one), and also to go with my Macbook Pro. I frequently use that laptop at a desk with 2 large monitors, essentially as a desktop computer. Since the Macbook is not on the desk but off to the side, I can't really use its keyboard or trackpad, but honestly I like the trackpad experience so much better on the Mac that I wanted one to go with my Macbook when used this way.I was extremely pleased with my refurbished purchase - it honestly looked brand new, right down to the packaging. It works perfectly and the battery life goes for days and days, and still works if I do need to plug it in to charge. The surface is very smooth, and the responsiveness of the trackpad couldn't be better. If you are new to Apple computers of any type, or if you curse trackpads because of the PC equivalents, give this one a chance. Apple has done a such a great job with the experience of using one of these that it might just change your mind.

Was Brand New!!
Bought this as “refurbished” to replace my mouse. To my surprise, this came sealed Apple original packaging, complete with peel off plastic on the unit itself, original charging cable, and original pamphlets. So far, no issues. I think this may have been a return for to not wanting or needing it, and it had never been opened! Definitely well worth the purchase price. I find that with my work, I needed a trackpad instead of a mouse, as I was beginning to feel signs of carpal tunnel syndrome. Paired this with an apple Magic Keyboard 2 with numeric keypad, and a “MagicBridge” by Twelve South - makes one unit out of the two, and is perfect for work.

Installation guide missing
So far working well. Installation guide not included but there are plenty of helpful youtube guides.Bought this trackpad so I could sign a PDF document using the Preview app. Takes some getting used to but I’m liking it more every day and have stopped using the mouse. Still figuring out how to do right click is settings…

“Renewed” product looks new and works just fine.
I am converting my travel kit from a Windows-based laptop to an iPad Pro 11. My workload has changed and, frankly, I’ve come to a point where less is more when it comes to traveling.Along with an Apple Folio keyboard, the Magic Trackpad adds flexibility and versatility to my kit, particularly when working with images and video.Apple’s recently released iPadOS finally allows the iPad to operate like a more traditional computer. The large 4.5 x 6.5 surface allows my arthritic fingers plenty of space. I still haven’t learned all the gestures recognized by the Trackpad, but I have learned enough of them to see that the Magic Trackpad is definitely a productivity enhancer.I purchased mine as a “renewed” product and, frankly, it looks like it was never used. Not a single blemish on it. Quite possibly this was a return from someone who didn’t or barely used it. Frankly, I can understand why some might feel “buyer’s remorse” because of the very high retail price of this product.I really like the Magic Trackpad. It really makes the iPad a lot more capable in terms of using it as a laptop replacement.Jerry

Chic and eco-friendly
I debated on whether or not to get the trackpad since it’s slightly more expensive than the Magic Mouse, however, I’m glad that I did. I tried the mouse and it felt flimsy, plus I was used to the hand gestures on my laptop, so the trackpad was the clear winner.Buying renewed is great for the environment as well as the wallet, so I recommend doing that if you can. It came with a charging cord (another to add to my collection) and didn’t have any blemishes or visible scratches. Overall I’m very happy with the purchase.9/10 only because even renewed it is still pricey.
