American Girl, Truly Me 18-inch Doll #104 with Dark-Blue Eyes, Straight Caramel Hair, Light Skin, for Ages 6+

This is such a beautiful doll. Her wig is soft and thick, she comes with an extra t-shirt and her outfit is stylish and well made. The coat is an adorable touch. I had her shipped to Canada for about 9$ a few weeks ago, I have no idea why she is now 90$ to ship. Occasionally it is easier and faster to use Amazon US to buy things, and it’s only the American Girl that appears to suddenly have strange shipping rates.

Absolutely GORGEOUS. She’s so incredibly pretty, her hair is soft n thick which I love! Definitely recommend.

Doll came in perfect condition

I have two daughters who love American Girl dolls. They are ages 7 and 9, nearly 8 and 10. They love dressing them up and make believing with them. My oldest even throws them around as if they’re cheerleading. This doll isn’t what I ordered. I ordered the blonde king hair girl as that’s what my daughter has. Instead, I was sent the brunette. So, while I’m not happy I didn’t get what I ordered, I am reviewing the brunette.The quality of the doll is excellent. It’s as if she came straight from the AG store. Her hair came in a hair net so that it’s in perfect condition. Her eyes open and close as they should if she’s put horizontal as if sleeping or stood up. Her clothes are colorful and my daughters love the tie die since it’s currently on trend. It’s the perfect size doll for slightly older girls.She even comes with a colorful booklet that the owner can fill out all about her and her doll. It’s probably around a 3-4th grade level, but my riding 2nd grader will be able to read it (with a little help) and she’ll be thrilled to fill out her information as well.Overall, this doll is beautiful and for those who are looking for an American Girl dolls, this is worth every penny.

This doll is so precious and one of my new favorites from american girl in sometime. I absolutely love the new outfits with a full set rather than the last dress. I prefer the new shirt over journals too ! If you have doubts just go for it !

Very satisfied

Oh I am super smitten with Truly Me #131, one of the newest Truly Me American Girl dolls. The doll itself is in excellent quality--her wig is perfect, came packed with care, and her limbs are all nice and tight (which sometimes isn't the case with AG dolls I've gotten from Amazon).In this rebrand of the Truly Me meet outfits, she comes wearing a star print t-shirt, denim skirt, varsity style jacket, socks, and shoes. There is also an additional pink t-shirt included so you can swap it and make a somewhat "different" outfit. There no longer is a book included, which I am absolutely fine with.The doll is just gorgeous. She has a darker tone straight blond wig--the stock photos do show it to be a little lighter than what you actually get, and deep brown eyes. The Josefina face mold is one of my favorites, so it was really just love at first sight. She is similar to the historic Julie doll, but not identical. If you're looking for a good first doll for a younger child, I would pick her as she's gorgeous and her wig will be really easy to maintain and would offer a lot of hair play fun! Now I want to collect all the other newly introduced Truly Me models!

So cute! Outstanding doll and terrific company. I started getting the historical American Girl dolls when my daughter was in elementary school and they are of the highest quality no matter how they are played with. I ordered this one because the color of the hair (more of a carmel color, not really brown or blond) is like my granddaughter’s and the quality and condition is consistent. I would like to get blue eye color eventually for another granddaughter and hopefully that color with the light brown hair will become available in the future. The size is good for posing and for doll furniture; no tipping when posed and can stand without falling over. While the doll is pricey, the value of these dolls is beyond question in my opinion in terms of how long they will hold up to heavy play. They will last forever. Extra accessories and clothing are available too.The clothes are high quality as well. The seams are finished with no loose threads. Machine washable and dry without the color fading. The shoes slip on and off easily. The hair is simple to brush and style, even for a 4 year old. Her face just lit up when she opened the box! An extra Tshirt is supplied with the same classic colors of American Girl dolls. Doll is washable with soap and water. Love this doll.
