I would give this product zero stars. I am so disappointed. If there was any way to repackage the product I would return it immediately. Since it took me an hour to unpack it and I had to cut a lot of the packaging material to remove it, I'm not willing to repackage.First, not bright enough. It says it produces "super bright" 3000 lumens. Since I can't measure lumens I don't know if this is true or not. But whatever it produces, it does not adequately light my space. The lamp it is replacing was the same style, but much brighter.Second, it uses some weird custom LED light. Not a replaceable bulb. If they had told me that, I never would have purchased it.Third, there is a recessed "tip switch", supposedly for safety, on the bottom of the lamp. This works fine as intended if you put the lamp on a hard surface. But it does not work on carpet; the lamp will not go on at all. To get it on, I had to use very tough packing tape to hold the tip switch down permanently, thus defeating the purpose. What a pain in the neck to diagnose the problem and figure a fix.Fourth, this was advertised as dimmable, but what they meant was a 3-position selection. And the "touch" button to turn it on and select the brightness position is very shoddy and cheap. Multiple tries every time I want to turn on or adjust the lamp. Again, a pain.Don't waste your money. Find something that works! Or at least that you can return if you don't like it.

So I received this floor lamp on Monday Oct 22nd, the first thing I noticed is how frustrating it was to unpack the product. Once I managed to get all the pieces out at least a 10 min process to remove lamp from the box, the install was quite easy and simple but the quality of the lamp and the plastic ring on the top is very poorly made along with lop sided. Now it was time to turn it on and test the lamp but wait I did not receive the power adapter for the wall, so I reached out to Amazon who then in turn sent me to the manufacture of the product to get a power adapter sent to my house. Well today it showed up Oct 26th, awesome go to pull in the lamp and turn it on to leave me in a huge disappointment that even on the high level it won't illuminate a small dark bathroom (See photo above). I have another one coming from Amazon only for the shear fact that I don't have the original box it came in cause I had to destroy it to get the lamp out to begin with and in hopes that the replacement will actually perform. If said replacement actually works I may bump the star rating up one more star but wouldn't go any higher than two stars.

Reset button on the bottom of the lamp is a pain in the ass.

Just made it past the warranty day, and the light flickers for a period until its been on for a few minutes at which point the light remains on. Emailed the manufacturer, and they told me to talk to Amazon, which gets me no where.

This is a solid lamp with nice built-in safety feature.Assembly:- The lamp comes with a heavy base, three lengths of threaded metal tubing and the light LED light and housing.- Assembly is fairly simple, but for one stage you will be grateful if you have a second set of hands to help out.- First, insert the bottom section of pipe into the base and screw down tight. WARNING: the power cord does not pull down through the base - if you pull it too hard you could break inaccessible permanent connections in the base.- Next, insert the middle section of pipe into the lower section of pipe and screw down tight - push excess cord down into the pipe.- Next, insert the top section of pipe into the middle section and screw it down. This is where you could use a second set of hands - to hold the light cover while you insert and attach the top section of pipe. WARNING: the wire coming out of the tops section of pipe is hardwired into the control button, and if you try to pull down on it to remove slack above you could break inaccessible connections and ruin the unit.- Lastly, push excess cord down into the top of the pipe and screw the light cover onto the top of the pipe assembly. For some reason the light cover unit didn't thread smoothly onto the pipe and it took perhaps 4 attempts, even with someone else holding the light cover for me to get it right.- Attach the power cord to the cord coming out of the base.Appearance:The light is quite pretty, having an brushed metal outer covering.Usefulness:The LED light has three settings, controlled via touch-button on the pipe. There is a blue ring of light surrounding the power button when the lamp is off, and by touching the power button repeatedly you can control the LED light to be dim, moderate or bright.My main complaint and the reason I awarded only 4 stars is that the light cover us opaque metal so all the light is directed upward toward the ceiling, So all the light you get is reflected off the ceiling. I would have preferred a translucent light cover so light shines upward and toward the sides at the same time.Assembly was straight forward and intuitive. The light quality is pleasant. All in all this is an extremely nice floor lamp that could have been great IMO with a different light cover design.4 solid stars
