Well built, easy to install and looks good at the foot of the pool.

Very satisfied with quality of this pool rail. The one we purchased is stainless steel and is good for even salt water pools. It has a coating to protect from handling a hot rail, but it does little in the Arizona sun. The coating is a rubbery feel and it was pretty hot to handle so we got a rail cover for better grip and heat protection. All in all a very good purchase and I feel way more comfortable getting in and out of our pool.

This is a super sturdy and useful pool handrail. But it is poorly packaged by the manufacturer. It arrived really scratched up (which diminishes the longevity of the powder coat). The original manufacturer does not wrap it in the shipping box. Thus, it has little/no protection during shipping. I would have given it 5 stars if it had been appropriately packed by the OEM.

Good product but poorly packaged. Shipped in a flimsy cardboard box with no packing material. Not Amazon's fault but the manufacturer. It arrived scratched where the box had been dropped on a hard surface. Not worth the trouble to return.I sent a note to S.R. Smith but they never bothered to respond.As always, let the buyer beware!

This appears to be a very nice quality stainless steel rail. No complaints. I was glad that I had read the reviews though. If you choose the bundle item which includes the anchor and escutcheon, you must increase the number after placing it in your cart to two for the anchor and escutcheon or you will be one short!! We followed the advice Alphonso I. who reviewed the anchors and escutcheons and recommended drilling a three inch hole and a one inch whole It made a very neat installation which is totally covered by the escutcheon. We did hire a friend who does concrete work to do the drilling. He had all of the necessary tools and knew what to do. We are very happy with the result.

Best for new installations, as design is not adaptable to existing installations where sockets (embedded in concrete) are not installed to exact spacing of this product. Be prepared to cut concrete and install new mounting sockets for retrofit projects. Also, be sure to electrically ground, per code.

The rail was used. It was priced very low and in like-new condition. It arrived very fast, with free shipping. But the design doesn't work for my pool. It is too long to install on the top step, and the legs are too short to install on the outside deck and clear the raised coping around the pool. It would work if there was a plate at the bottom of each leg, so it could be installed on the top surface of the deck. Wish I could use it; it is a nice piece - looks great.

Makes steps much safer

Very nice, but....noticed some ding marks from manufacturing, Amazon credit some of the money, 15% , due to I waited for 3 weeks..
