$300 SVGA projector. Budget projector from a trusted brand for a good price. With some caveats.
This projector was $299 at time of purchase. If its run in ECO mode the lamp life is ( supposedly ) 15000 hours.I bought it when it became apparent that due to Covid-19 we would be spending a lot more time at home.I also bought this HDMI switch https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073TTS9QG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. 1 to increase the number of HDMI inputs on the unit & 2 to isolate the audio output into 3.5mm audio coaxial & TOSLINK digital optical audio. The switch also works superbly. The reason for isolating the audio is that the speaker on this thing is beyond pitiful. To make matters worse Benq decided to include the worlds worst 3.5mm audio out on the unit, essentially to decrease costs & simultaneously encourage you to purchase one of the more expensive units. Technically you can use it in the same way that technically you can use 2 tin cans and a piece of string as a primitive intercom. Its possible but utterly impractical.Couple that with this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MQYPJ2F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 HDMI extension cable and the following audio cables https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009W857SG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for digital audio & https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A6VYXY2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for analog audio.I also bought the following mount https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C9KIRO0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 specifically because it allows 90 degrees mounting. The projector barely fits the mount when mounted to the wall, but it does fit. However you may want to look for a mount with more clearance. My space is a bit too tight for the relatively long throw of the unit so I needed a mount with as little slack as possible.Since it is mounted further up the wall than the power cord could stretch i got this replacement power cord https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0728CMZSY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.The screen I bought is unfortunately discontinued but it was this one for to give you an idea of what to look for https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MH4TP3W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.This one is just as good for almost double the price https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Pull-Down-Projector-Screen/dp/B07L9D41KQ/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=amazon+basics+projector+screen&qid=1601196982&refinements=p_85%3A2470955011%2Cp_89%3AAmazonBasics&rnid=2528832011&rps=1&s=electronics&sr=1-2.The projector is plenty bright enough for daylight viewing, with only Venetian blinds blocking window light, or alternatively in a room with a desk / floor lamp on. In a pitch black room like a basement or attic it is extremely bright. The resolution is SVGA or 800x600 yes it will accept anything up to 1080p but it down converts and outputs in SVGA.In practice when its all set up its more than acceptable especially for the price. If you are on a budget & are willing to accept the resolution know its a deal. Even with all the cables mount screen and HDMI switcher it was still under $430 and i really cant complain about that.I had previously bought one of the cheap Chinese LED units ( db power ) and it was objectively bad. With the focus being the primary issue. Either the middle of the image or the edges of the image were in focus but not both and there is no way to fix this. Its a lens issue with no replacements available. Also customer service was ( as expected ) non existent. In comparison to one of those units this projector costs 3 times as much. It is easily 3 times better.

Great quality, great value, good brightness!
I had to add my positive review to this product because I liked the projector so much that I bought a second one for work. I purchased the first one to replace an older Sharp DT-100 that I had been using at home. First, I’d like to note that I actually measured the luminous flux using a lux meter to verify their claim of 3,600 lumens, and my measurements support their claim (my measurements came up at ~3,000-3,200 lumens, but it’s within the margin of experimental error!). You can see the side-by-side with the older 1000 lumens projector (the BenQ is on the right). The brightness difference is obvious, and so is the clarity. So I’m absolutely pleased with the quality, especially for the price. With that said, statements made by other reviewers about the loudness of the speaker are true: It is not very loud. But I always intended to use it with external speakers, so it wasn’t an issue for me. Also, bear in mind that it is a single DMD, single lamp system. So if you’re sensitive to the R-G-B modulation, you will notice it with this projector, as you would with most other multimedia projectors. But I still think that it’s an outstanding system for its price!

Best Projector I have owned
Now I haven't owned a whole ton of projectors, but from the ones I have and the ones my friends have owned. This is one of the best I have seen. You can use it day and night and still see it clear. Obviously during the day not as much as at night, but it still does well! We use it in place of a TV and love it. Only bummer with it was trying to figure out the audio. If you run a sound system through the projector it comes out a lot quieter than normal. Now we used some optical cords and just ran those from the various devices we have connected to the projector into a switcher (main port that you can switch between each devices sound. We did the same thing for video just to be able to add more devices to it) and it works great! Other than that, no issues at all. Would buy it again for sure.

nice easy to mount with our existing ceiling mount.
Works great easy to set up we are using it in a Church sanctuary nice and bright for videos never did any gaming so I won't comment on that. Very good value for your money. Replaced one of our older projectors the original ceiling mount fit had it switched out and running in minutes.
