So far so good -- comfy as maternity bra (haven't tried it as nursing yet)
I can't comment yet on how I'll like this bra as a nursing bra, as I'm still just at the start of my 7th month of pregnancy. But as far as a maternity bra, it's worked out quite well so far. One of my personal challenges has been finding a bra that is supportive, comfortable and shapes nicely, as I've gone up two cup sizes so far during my pregnancy (pre-pregnancy I was 34C, but have determined I must now be a 34DD).I'm sort of an odd size to fit, though, because as an athletic swimmer, I have a muscular back, not much on the top part of my chest, and the bulk of my size in the bottom part of my chest (pre-pregnancy, I never had cleavage, for instance, and needed demi-bras because full-coverage bras were usually a bit too roomy). After trying out various bras -- mostly all by purchasing online, since I've found it very hard to find a wide selection of high-quality bra options (whether maternity or not) locally -- and purchasing some bras that do the job, but have flaws, I read lots of positive reviews of the Elle Macpherson Intimates bra and decided to try it.One of the things I really like about it, at least for maternity, is that it has an extended set of snaps in the back, beyond what most bras have -- something like 6 or 8 columns for a more precise adjustment as your breasts grow or shrink. The stretchy material is comfortable to wear for all day at work -- and it also shapes my fuller chest surprisingly well. The straps are comfortable with a bit of "springiness" to them, and the lace is a nice touch.I can tell I'll have a little room to grow into this bra, as it's slightly roomy in the upper part of the bra (I can see some wrinkling from the extra fabric) -- but I was pleased that the bra is still supportive even given that, as the cup size itself feels right for me, and makes me feel a little more assurance that I'll have a little room to grow into it once the baby arrives and my chest likely gets bigger once my milk comes in (since this is my first, I have no idea what to expect).I tried snapping and unsnapping the one-handed clip for breast access, and it seems easy yet secure at the same time. I'll have to see how that bears out once there's a baby to deal with too. My only qualms with this bra are that 1). it feels a bit higher-cut under the arms, and when I tightened the straps to where I felt I needed, I could feel the lace brushing the edge of chest, near the start of the underarm... This is a minor aggravation, since that is perhaps a sensation I personally dislike in a bra, or maybe a more sensitive too -- but I also surmise that this might change as I get a bit bigger and need to loosen things up a bit. 2). The other qualm is that I'm already 5 columns in on the snaps, and wish the band were a wee bit tighter for the 34 size. I worry I might stretch it out somewhat before I need to use it for nursing. In any case, overall, I've been pleased with this bra for maternity, and am cautiously optimistic that it will work for nursing too. I'm not sure how nursing pads will work in this bra -- but it seems a good choice for women looking for a comfy and supportive bra during the maternity and post-natal nursing phases of their pregnancies.

The best nursing bra! Had no idea there were such comfortable nursing bras!!!
I got the Motherhood Maternity version (no longer available) of this bra 2 years ago and loved it then. I was a new mom and had no clue as to how to buy a maternity bra and kind of bumbled my way through it. I have always liked and only use wireless bras, and after reading that they were suggested for nursing moms, I was actually shocked that there weren't more wireless nursing bras on the market. Needless to say, I bought a whole range of wireless bras. I realized that padded bras made nursing more difficult because the cups flip back up to try to hold their shape (not helpful when you're trying to nurse!). Sometimes the padded bras are also a little too stiff and chafe if you aren't using breast pads. Most of the bras use a plastic piece on either side (under the armpit) to help the cups hold their shape, but with time (both during the day of wearing them as well as with washing them), they start digging into your skin and are very uncomfortable. That being said, this bra addresses all of these issues. It's a very nice soft material (no padding) and it is wireless. It is one of the few bras that does not have the stiff plastic support on the sides. The material is such that multiple washes do not show (critical when you don't want to break the bank buying bras). The lace edging is a nice touch to make the bra look less utilitarian and more feminine. I would highly recommend!!

Lifts like an underwire bra!
I researched a lot of nursing bras and am really glad I purchased this one, especially considering it is one of the cheaper bras out there. I wear a 32dd while nursing, and the bra is true to size. Also, the clasp has extra hooks so the band is more adjustable than a normal bra. The bra is not lined and does not have underwire, but it still manages to give great lift and support. I was worried I would get the sort of squashed, floppy look that I usually expect from non-underwire bras, but the cups are contoured in a way that gives a (for lack of a better description) pointed shape to the breasts rather than a flattened or uni-boob shape. I also feel very lifted on this bra. It is smooth and looks good under tight-fitting tops. It does have full coverage, so it may not be good for very low-cut tops, although the lace trim does look like a nice camisole rather than a bra if it does show. I got the nude color and it is perfect. One warning: It is unlined so nursing pads and/or nipples do show through with tight shirts. I don't usually use pads so this doesn't bother me.

disappointed
I had a previous version of this bra with prior pregnancies (5 and 8 years ago) and thought they were hands down the best nursing bras I had -- comfortable, easy to use, supportive, no underwire, sturdy and held up through a lot of use and washings. But there must be a new manufacturer now because the two new bras I bought tore very easily at the lace part on the top -- and comparing them to my old bras, it's clear that the lace material on the new version is much flimsier. I am disappointed...Also one other weird note -- the tag on the bra says "Heidi Klum" not Elle McPherson...?

Pretty, Pretty
The bra has 2 layers so that it can perform as a nursing bra, the decorative lace top and the cutout frame underneath. After a few washings they don't line up and the layer underneath peeks out as if a v-neck was showing through a camisole. I think it's because the fabric on top has stretch and shrunk from the wash.It still remains to be very comfortable. Very full cups. The band has 5 or 6 clips to adjust for weight gain or loss. The bra strap is actually wider than I had expected. Prettier than most nursing bra's I've encountered but if only it hadn't shrunk.
