If you just want to rebuild or overhaul a GM Transmission, you should start with this book! It gives you the necessary input/knowledge to do the job properly! However, if you want to dabble more in the art of transmission improvements of any kind, then you should buy a more specific book, specially written for the transmission you want to upgrade!
