The book arrived on time or should I say before time ,the price could not be beat,the product itself is a great read the entire marvel universe including thanos wage war against a new threat to gain the infinity stones in a nut shell a great omnibus

El libro desgraciadamente llegó golpeado, por dicha Amazon se hizo cargo del asunto, por lo que no tengo ninguna queja, el contenido es espectacular muchos dicen que no es una secuela a la altura de Infinity Gauntlet pero sin duda las peleas contra los doppelganger muchas son iconicas, excelente compra.

I loved the Infinity Gauntlet story and omnibus. This omnibus, The Infinity War omnibus, is a sequel to it and this omnibus is one giant disappointment. The story itself is meh - it is the conflict (War) between the Magus, the evil side of Adam Warlock, versus the rest of the Marvel universe with Thanos siding with the heroes. The premise itself is interesting but the way the story unfolded made it confusing and difficult to follow. The Infinity War is a 6 issue limited series with cross overs to regular titles such as the Fantastic Four, Quarsar, Alpha Flight and others. However, this omnibus is not presented in reading order. This omnibus opens with the 6 issue limited series Infinity War and the cross over titles came after. The problem is that the cross over tiles happen in parallel thus the reader already knows the ending but not everything in between. Many of the titles also overlay on top of each (story wise) and thus causing confusion to the reader (at least to me) especially when a reader is trying to follow the story in linear time (which event happen first, etc...). The best part of this omnibus is because it is an omnibus which means all the relevant stories are collected into one volume and thus a reader can read the entire story in one place (sitting). But it is not the best reading experience for a story of such grand scale.

I am a fan of MARVEL comics. I don't know a lot about this book. It fit's with E ND GAMES that just came out. It's a good book for fan's that like MARVEL comics.

Infinity war is the direct sequel to infinity gauntlet. Infinity gauntlet was an epic story. The omnibus was also awesome. That omnibus had all the back story and buildup the led up to the infinty gauntlet, and read perfectly in omnibus format. The infinty war omnibus, fails to live up to that. In every way. If you get this book expecting a story as great as the infinity gauntlet? You will be very disappointed. First off, the omnibus starts right off with the infinity was 6 issue mini series. Which is rather jarring, to say the least. Alot has changed since the end of gauntlet, and you are just thrown into it with no explanation of why things are the way they are. This could have been easily solved if they put in the first 6 issues of warlock and the infinity watch in the beginning of this book. But nope. They couldnt have been bothered. My next complaint is that none of this book is in chronological order. It is, quite literally, all over the place. The only series that is in order is the main 6 issue mini series. The rest is thrown in together in one big jumbled mess. Now as the actual story? The 6 issue mini series is actually pretty decent, but nowhere near as good as the infinty gauntlet was. Now the crossovers? The Warlock and the infinty watch issues were actually quite good. Arguably better than the main story itself. Also the doctor strange and silver surfer issues were also really good. So read those. If you can find them. They are all scattered in the back of the book all mixed in with like 20 or so other meaningless crossover titles. Like the comics are not even grouped together. You would think they would have all the titles grouped together at least. Like all the infinity watch comics were one right after the other. Nope. Not even. I am not exaggerating when I call it a mess. And for the other crossovers? Like captain america? Two pages of that comic actually connects to the main event. Most of the crossover comics are like that. A total waste of time. I mainly bought this just so I can have it in my collection. But for anyone who just wants to read it? Save your money and buy the paperback collection. Infinty gauntlet was a masterpiece. Infinity war was just away for marvel to cash in on the hype.
