Q: Can this be cut down and fitted as a window for a litter box? I want to watch but don't want him to know.

You can cut this down to size, but I'm not sure it would really work for being able to see in without the cat seeing out. Whichever side has the most light, is the side that will appear reflective. The litter box most likely will be dark and so the cat would be able to see out to some degree and you would probably not be able to see in very well.

Q: Does it come very scratchy and does it need a lot of cleaning?

It comes with a protective film on both sides that you will need to remove. The protective film is often scratched. The mirror itself should not be scratched. You do need to treat it with some care, though, as acrylic can receive scratches fairly easily. If you clean it, I would recommend blowing dust off with a compressed air can or similar. Rubbing a paper towel or cloth over it can scratch it.

Q: if I get the 1mm, will i be able to input touches on the tablet I will add to the back?

I've done a test previously trying to touch a tablet while the mirror is in front of it, and it kind of works, but not real well. If you do plan to try to operate the tablet by touch, you will definitely want the scratch resistant version, because otherwise you will be scratching up the mirror when you are trying to operate your tablet. When it comes to operating the tablet or whatever you have behind the mirror, however, I would probably recommend something other than touch. I think it would be best if you can convey your commands via voice, a remote, a wireless mouse, or some other means.

Q: What is the best way to clean this product of fingerprints or smudges?

You have to be very careful. Acrylic scratches pretty easily. The supplies that may be easiest for you to find are a completely clean microfiber cloth together with Zeiss 50% isopropyl alcohol. If you are able to, an even better option is Novus 1 Plastic Clean & Shine together with Novus Polish Mates or Kimwipes (all of which you can get on Amazon). I also want to make sure and list things not to use. Do not use: Water, Ammonia based cleaners, Windex, Lysol Wipes, Abrasive sponges, Brushes (make sure not to use anything in this list).
