I purchased this life vest last week based on the great reviews and they did not steer me wrong. It honestly exceeded my expectations with the fit and comfort. I am 5’ 8” and am a size 18, carrying most of my weight in my mid-section. I had visited a few local shops to try on life vests and it was always such a process to adjust all the straps and would still end up feeling like a marshmallow. There were a few “ok” options; I even bought one because I wasn’t super optimistic about how this one would fit since it hadn’t arrived yet. The next afternoon it arrived and there was no comparison. The straps are easy and quick to adjust, I put it on, zipped it up and it fit great! The next day I returned my previous purchase and went kayaking in my Stohlquist Women's Flo Lifejacket in purple. It has worked great for me and I would highly recommend.

My husband bought this for me and I love it. Usually when we went out kayaking I would take off my vest because it was just hot and uncomfortable. That doesn't happen with this vest, I wear it during the duration of our paddle time. Light weight and cool. I am very happy with it.

It fits perfect with the cutouts for my boobs - I am a Dcup. It's very comfortable and perfect for paddling. This is my first vest.

Truly a great product. Well made designed for women. Unfortunately it said "plus" and I was sent a small-medium.

Nice for kayaking

I've actually had this life jacket for a few years now. If the water isn't bad or I'm on calm water, I usually forego wearing it. This past May, my friends and I did our annual river trip. Normally, we do it in June, but couldn't because of schedules. The rain had been bad, and the water was WAY up. I thought we'd still probably be fine.... oh how wrong I was. Before we loaded up, intuition had me zip on my life jacket and I was pleasantly surprised to discover the hard work I'd put into losing weight had paid off, and i had to pull all my straps down tighter. Thank goodness I did this.... 10 minutes into the trip, I realized too late that not only was my boat overloaded and off center, I wasn't comfortable. We immediately hit very deep, fast moving water, and before I knew it I was tanked. It was all I could do to keep my head above water, as wave after wave hit me in the face. I tried to swim, tried to fight, but nothing worked. BUT because I put on my life jacket and adjusted it correctly, I basically bobbed in the waves like a cork. I finally gave up swimming and let the river carry me. When I got to slightly calmer water, I was able to swim out. This life jacket is a tad bulky, and yeah, they're not super comfortable. But I PROMISE - if you get in a pickle, it WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE.
