This fits better in my back windows as opposed to front which have a curve. I have a smaller dog so he probably can’t push it out but if you have a strong dog, they can probably could if they really wanted too.

I bought two of these for the back windows in my car. My dogs love being able to smell outside and I love keeping them safe. These are sturdy and easy to use. Highly recommend

I was trying to find something that would help. Keep my cats from scratching at the screens while the windows were open. This works awesome! I get great airflow, and I know my house cats will not be able to escape. Easy to install.

The product is sturdy, but the opening that it creates if very small. If it were twice as tall, it'd be about perfect.

I have a 2017 Prius C, and this fit well on the rear passenger window. Two things I would like to recommend for an improvement to this product. 1) I would like to request that this get made with metal. 2) I would like to request a smaller version, especially made for smaller windows. With my car, close to half of the window is open, perhaps a smaller version could be made that will only open up at most 6 inches.

If i need to leave the dogs in the car for a few minutes (when it's not too hot out) i use these in the back windows which roll down straight across. They are very sturdy when rolled up into the channel and allow for air flow through the car. For the front windows I use two because of the bend of the window since the gate doesn't flex down to accommodate that windows bend. super sturdy and keeps the car from heating up. I also use a fan that stirs the air. I recommend these for anyone who wants to keep their car cooler. I use a solar powered fan that keeps the air circulating with air from the outside. parked in the shade i use a battery powered fan that helps. when i leave the dogs in the car it is for VERY brief periods and they have a cooling pad and a large bowl of water that has ice in it in case they need a little extra cooling. This window gate is larger than the others i've found, is very sturdy when installed correctly and provides peace of mind when i'm on the road and have to pay for gas or take a potty stop.

I love these. I had a pair many years ago so when I got my new puppy I immediately bought another pair. The item is durable. I highly recommend as long as you don’t have window sensors on your car. My car is a 2018 Volkswagen with window sensors. I put them in my window rolled up my windows and my windows wouldn’t stay up. They continuously went down so unfortunately I did have to return this product but I highly highly highly recommend it if it will work with your car.

Sept 3, 2013These gates allow me to keep my back windows open twice as far as I would without them. My dogs get more fresh air and are still able to put their front paws up on the arm of the door and their noses up against the gates and enjoy the scents of the world as we drive around. At first they may seem a bit less hefty than you'd like but once properly installed in the window they are really quite strong and only a large dog who is absolutely determined to break through has a chance of doing so (my two dogs are medium sized). The very first time we used them we noticed other drivers pointing to them and clearly thinking they were a great idea and they most definitely are.Update May 5, 2014As I'm driving around with them in so many people comment on them and ask me about them that I am going to print info to kepp in my car and give to people. They are absolutely great and I can't say enough good things about them to the people who talk to me about them - especially the PRICE! For what these cost no dog owner should be without them.
