This machine saved our baby’s sleep and our sanity as new parents.Our one year old had always had a hatch machine. It was all the rage & we got one gifted to us. Well she hadn’t slept through the night by 14 months old still. We tried changing her crib, her mattress, her pajamas etc. we tried every setting on the hatch and even no sound.Finally someone told me that analog white noise machines are more soothing & the static from electric machines can be anxiety inducing. I never liked the white noise on the hatch & I hated tv static so I said ok let’s try one. I settled on this one …. Night one with it she slept 12 hours straight. I was praising god for this little machine.Three months later and we are sleeping 12 hours a night still. Got a second one for me and my husband because the sound is so insanely comforting even for me who hates white noise.I cannot recommend this enough. Giving this to every new parent in my life. So easy, flip it on and go. Portable and never lets us down.

Had an old sound maker from the same company from the early 90s that just started acting up. We tried to fix it but sadly 35 ish years finally caught up with it. Sad day. Found this new model on here and works just as well as my old one. Here's to another 35 years of use!

I wish they would last longer. My last one died after 14 months but I have to have this to combat the constant ringing in my left ear. When I travel, I try to use a white noise program on my iPhone but it's not the same. If you suffer from tinnitus, this is a life saver.

Perfectly Not So Perfect! Ordered it in a 120v 60hz version. I’m stationed in a place that uses that voltage and frequency in a controlled electrical environment. I’ve used this type for over 30 years in different environments. My new unit did the job “Perfectly”, drowning out the appropriate sounds so that I could sleep. It is a proven design that uses a perfectly designed housing, aluminum fan and a shaded pole motor…so it seemed. After two months of use, it gave up the ghost. I was speechless. I even checked out our power history to make sure the device got what it needed. It did. Knowing that I couldn’t send it back. (We only receive stuff and can’t send it back) I decided to do a root cause analysis and found the deficiency in the motor. Specifically the winding. (I used to design these shaded pole motors). I was also disappointed to find that the motor wasn’t 60/50 hertz rated. ( even though it could actually do so with about a 20% theoretically rotational speed loss.) Anyway, I digress. It could be that I just received a bad motor…but I’m more prone to believe that this isn’t the first time that they have heard of this problem. Common folks! Shaded pole motors aren’t that expensive. Could you come up with a dual voltageModel? It would make it a lot easier on us folks that rely on your product as we fix things around the world. Just a thought. Do I stillThink you have a great product? Yes! Could you improve on the QA of your tier one supplier? Absolutely. Sorry to give you a 1 star rating, but you’ve let me down…and I’m disappointed.

A little bit more quiet than a digital sound machine could be. But I love the natural fan sound and the tone is much better than a digital sound machine.

I purchased the original machine years ago and it still works flawlessly. We decided to get a second one for the guest room.This one is a little different but basically does the same thing as the original product. Just a little bit different sound but it does adjust so you will find one you will like.I always sleep much better using this product.

The white noise machine works just like my previous Dohm, which probably lasted 10 years. The new machine's dB range is 55 at the closed air setting, and 65 when wide open. I use 55, which is the same level as my previous Dohm. Recommended.
