Man in The Yellow Hat Costume - Adult Std.

First some minor warnings:-Wear *white* boxers or athletic shorts or something else under the pants. The material will show anything dark through. Anything.-Wear a T-shirt underneath the shirt (preferably yellow obviously, but white works). The shirt has a half-split in the back and ties-on, so your bare back will be visible otherwise.Fit-I am 6'6", 34-36 waist pants, and the pants fit fine, and everything else was well-proportioned.-Pants elastic is really flexible so I'd guess you'd have t +/- 5 inches to work with as compared to my waist size.-Shirt is split halfway in the back with a tie at the top to tie behind your neck. This makes it accommodating, but kind of like a hospital gown, which I didn't like.-Shirt length and sleeve length is good (was worried being tall), had extra inches to tuck into pants, and sleeves came to my wrists.-Hat brim droops a bit, and is fairly pointy. If you bend the back of the brim back, and push the top of the hat down in a little, you will solve this problem and avoid looking like yellow wizard.-Boot covers at the feet were not large enough to cover my shoes (size 13) and bunched up a little above them.-Belt ties on in the back, which I didn't like. The pants have belt loops so you could wear a real belt, though that might actually look out of place with the rest of the costume.Material Quality-Material is very cheap as others have said. Pretty much any packaged costume is though. Good fabric costs a lot.-Pants and boots are sewn together.-Tie is sewn to the collar.-Hat, tie, shirt collar, boots, and belt are a thin foam material.-Stitching on one boot was kind of loose and was starting to come undone-Elastic waistband in pants is surprisingly very good and stretchy.-Will arrive pretty wrinkled, looks better ironed. You can iron it if you set your iron for polyester (even the foam), even though the tag says not to do it. Just don't hold the iron down long and you'll be fine.Accuracy-Wore this to work and a costume party; everybody recognized it immediately and loved it. Yes, you will not be 100% realistic looking, but unless you already have yellow pants, high boots, and materials to at least make a hat, it will be hard to make a costume for less money.-It looks cheap and fake when you un-package it, but looks good when worn. Really a lot of people actually thought I made the costume. Not sure what that says of their opinion of me.

Very funny costume. Brim on hat is floppy and doesn't look like photo, need to stiffen up by gluing cardboard on. Husband looks kind of like demented scare-crow. But too busy to make a costume so this will have to do. Does fit fine even though he is an XL.

Every body loved that I dressed up but this is a one time costume. It is cut poorly and will probably fall apart after the 2 hours you wear it. I had to weave a piece of wire into the brim to keep it from drooping.

This costume is super cheaply made and looks awful. The hat is floppy. The rest of the costume is just stupid looking.I sent it back, and made a costume by dying a white cotton shirt, and pants and a white silk tie (all from discount stores) and spray painting a hat that I made with paper mache. The cost was comparable to this costume, but it was a lot more work.Don't buy it-- unless you have really low standards, it's pretty much unusable.
