Didn’t live up to expectations
Listen, I am a 25 year old adult and no matter how much I try, I am an embarrassment with chopsticks. So after years of embarrassing myself at Asian restaurants, I decided to look for a pair of the pathetic training chopsticks that actual servers have given me to spare me the struggle. I was looking specifically for adult-sized, left-handed chopsticks. I am a regular woman with not too small hands, but I have to say these are entirely too small. They’re way shorter than the standard fiberglass chopsticks I own and on top of it, I really don’t feel like they are helping me learn. I feel like I’m just relying on the fact that they’re stuck together at the top which sometimes makes it harder because I want to hold them further up to make them longer but the little holders are too low. So if you’re buying these for an adult, know that they are very small and probably won’t be suitable for an adult unless they have unusually small hands!

easy to use
I bought these for my 8 year old son. The left-handed ones. They work great and he uses them like a pro.

helpful chopsticks
I've struggled for years to use chopsticks. I'm married to an asian, so it's not like I never encounter them, either. The fact that I am left-handed always makes it difficult for right-handed people to show me how to use chopsticks. And even when I sort of know how I'm supposed to hold them, it was still always really difficult for me to pick anything up.These chopsticks are cool because they have guides that help you hold them in exactly the right place, and use correct motions to open and close them. This isn't like some other products which just force the chopsticks back open after you squeeze them together--these actually make you use the correct motions to open and close them.Since I have been using these I feel more confident about being able to use real chopsticks properly.

Practice makes perfect (Beginner Friendly)
I am just using these to get the hang of them. I can see how they would help me to transition to using the real chop sticks with out assistance. The instructions are not in English and so I had to watch a few Youtube videos to assist me in using these. Overall, I will say that I will probably be able to use the real chopsticks without assistance after using these because they place certain fingers in certain places and guides you in using the chopsticks the correct way. Practice makes perfect.

Really easy to use
If I hold them like the photo on the back shows with my thumb above the notch I struggle with these, BUT if I put my thumb UNDER the notch further down on the chopstick with the other notch bracing against my palm/thumb area they work great! I'm not sure if I'm actually learning how to use regular chopsticks this way, but this is definitely more success than I've had before. There was a grey scuff on the set I got that won't come off no matter how hard I scrub, but it doesn't affect the use in any way so it's not that big of a deal, just not great to look at. I wish there was a more subtle looking set available (metal maybe?) that didn't scream "Check out my training wheels!" like these do, I'd buy those in a heartbeat!

Cheaply made. comfortable at all.
Chopsticks don't line up. Loops for fingers very small not comfortable at all. Don't waste your money cause it's not eligible for return
