Orange Screw 3mm Paracord - Textured Posi-Lock | Made in USA

I used this cord for retention lanyards. It is very tough and has a rough texture. I chose it for its high visibility and it worked great in my application, but it would also make excellent tent guy lines.

This cord is mechanically as useful as the orange colored 3mm, holding knots, being grippy, and adequately strong. Unlike the orange, however, there is no reflective thread, which I had not noticed.

Stiff cord with NO reflective properties at all. I did make a key fob that looks ok but probably won’t use it fo anything else.

This cord is a very happy medium.It's very visible orange, and very nicely reflective.It's adequately strong, in terms of tensile strength... not Amsteel by any means, but strong for most camping usage.It's easy to work with - thinner, often a bit stronger reflective cordage is difficult to fiddle with untying knots. and thinner, stronger Dyneema/Spectra cordage is often slippery, making Prusik's slide too easily, too. This stuff has a bumpy texture, so is good for light duty ridge lines and grippy tautline, clove, and trucker's hitches.NOTE: The gray version of this is NOT reflective.

Great color. Arrived quickly. The reflective orange is just what I needed.
