So good!
This is the one! 1/2 cup of ground chuck sandwiched between two pieces of parchment paper makes the perfect size burger. When done, the patty will be the exact size of a bunny deluxe hamburger bun. This thing is worth double the asking price in my opinion. Never buying premade or frozen patties again!

Works great
Works great when you learn how to apply the proper pressure. Might be more difficult for smaller/lighter people.

Not as described, waste of money.
Washed it when I got it in. Already rusting where the shaft attaches to the crossbar. Papers they sent with it are to big. Pictures and the description states it's adjustable. But it's not, you need to weigh out the hamburger and then make it into a ball. Seems to be more of a waste of time. It would be much nicer if it was truly adjustable.

Pro Quality & Beefy Construction
This burger smoosher has gravitas! When I opened the box, my first word was "woah!"I wasn't expecting something this professional and high quality. Seriously, this thing is a beast! It's larger than I was expecting, but after having my first few burgers with it, it's not too big, it's the perfect size! Burgers shrink when cooked of course, so when finished, they're the perfect size. When I'd hand make patties, I'd always make them too thick and that created a crispy shell with a rare center. Now, my burgers are juicier and much more uniformly cooked. I had to adjust my grill times since I'm starting with a thinner patty now, but the difference in taste and texture is night and day! I used a scale to measure out 200g of raw beef for each patty and when fully smooshed, they're right around 3/4" thick and so uniform. I should have taken a picture after I grilled some. They shrink down in diameter by about 3/4"-1" and are the perfect cooked size in my opinion. They actually fill out those artisan buns to the edges.I'm a metal fabricator by trade and scrutinized this press's construction inside and out, and it's very nicely laser welded and my magnet test tells me its true 304 stainless steel as advertised. The thing that I'm most impressed by is how heavy gauge it is. See attached pic, but 16 gauge stainless steel is STOUT! The entire press is 100% stainless steel construction too, there's no plastic, paints, or other toxins that could leach into your meat - even better!Though I've never worked in a commercial kitchen, this burger press is exactly what I'd expect to find in one. I'm pretty sure I'll be handing this down to my grandkids in 30 years! If you need a burger press, stop looking and buy this one!

Solid and sturdy, works great
I hadn't really envisioned what I would receive - I just wanted something to help me form thin burgers. So I was surprised at how big this seemed - big and sturdy. It's very easy to clean and use.I just wanted thin burgers so I used about 1/4 pound ball of ground beef, put a round paper into the press, and pressed out a perfectly round thin burger. Since they're too thin to easily move right away, I did the second and third burgers directly on top. Put a second measured round on top of the paper covered pressed burger, put another paper into the press, and carefully pressed down again (carefully so that I covered the first burger evenly. It was very quick and easy to turn 1.5 pounds of ground beef into nice burgers for the freezer - flat enough I can fry them from frozen, so I don't need to worry about my meat staying too long in the fridge. I was able to process this amount easily, and now I'll go back to buying in larger amounts knowing it will be quick and easy to process everything as I prefer.I'm really happy with this kitchen solution. There aren't a lot of parts or anything difficult to clean. Since I used the papers, the raw meat touched very little of the press so I didn't have to scrub anything off. It's large enough I'm not sure where I'm going to store it, but it's already an important enough tool that I will find a place for it.
