Amazing radio
This is an AMAZING radio for the price. I grew up in the "golden age" of car audio (the 90's and early 00's), so I am always looking for features like high preout voltage, low distortion (thd) numbers, and high signal to noise ratio. The fact that this deck has 3 sets of 5 volt pre-outs is amazing. Also, it has generally low thd and not bad signal to noise ratio.Functionally, it is a beautiful radio. It has all the modern day conveniences that you'd want while also being easy to use. The handsfree microphone setup works perfectly and is easy enough to install. I have spent plenty of time riding around since I installed it listening to my spotify playlist. Overall, for the quality that is synonymous with this brand, it lives up to expectations. But, when you add in the price... it FAR exceeds expectations and becomes an incredible bargain. If you are in the market for one of these decks, do your self a favor and purchase one of these, you will not regret it!

The best single DIN head unit on the market!
If your looking for upgraded sound and an expanded stereo system you should focus in your head unit first. Spend all the money you want on amps and speakers, but if you don't have a clean signal feeding them they are going to crap out sloppy sound. 5 volt preamp outputs like this unit has is absolutely necessary. The Bluetooth works flawlessly if you set up the NFC on your phone. Also a CD player is pretty rare on units these days so that is a nice addition. Remember to stream the highest bit rate possible if your listening via Bluetooth for the best sound. Like I said before. Good signal in, good sound out. It's loaded with features that are relatively easy to use. It should be noted that it does NOT COME WITH A REMOTE CONTROL. At this price point it should. If your building a system or are a freak about sound quality, this is a great choice. If these things don't matter to you save some bucks and by a simple boss unit with Bluetooth connection and save yourself the money. A good one can be purchased for under $50 bucks all day long. This is a high end single DIN head unit for top quality sound.

Sounds killer
The only bad thing so far is it is hard to see the screen during the day with shades on. But at night the head unit is beautiful! I have a single 12" p2, two JL 6x9's and two infinity kappa 6.5's. The head unit I had before was an alpine but it was one of the economy versions. Like a 169...something. It did the job. But the 6x9's & 6.5's were dying for an amp. The old unit started to distort pretty bad once you started to crank it up.MAN! This head unit made a night and day difference! I can turn it all the way up and it's crystal clear! It made my sub hit so much harder and gave my other speakers the juice they were craving for. It really is a great sounding unit. Very impressed! As for the bluetooth conectivity, there is no problems with it cutting in and out. Within 5 seconds of starting my truck my phone connects to the unit automatically. Very glad I purchased it.

Cannot control your Apple Music Playlists from the face plate (only from the phone or iPod)
My old 148BT single DIN unit had the capability to control all aspects of my iPod / iPhone Apple Playlists. This unit (175BT) cannot do this. You need to use the device to change playlists. Not sure why Alpine removed this feature. Now I need to begin a return of this unit, in favor of the Pioneer DEH-X880BHS, a single DIN unit that DOES control playlists and more directly from the face plate screen. This is terrible. Unit sounds amazing otherwise.

Just get it, you won’t be disappointed
In another car of mine I had a kenwood bt518h along with alpine speakers front and rear with the alpine mrv-m500 amp and that set up was nice all around and hit hard like I had a sub in the trunk. That car is gone now but anyway I bought this stereo to but into my daily (97 Camry) and I am overly impressed by this unit. Even with everything stock it puts those speakers to work and hits hard with no distortion. Almost as hard as my other set up BUT EVERYTHING COMPLETELY STOCK. If you want a new stereo this is the guy you want and not just that but if you want to add any front and rear speakers with an amp and/or a sub, it’s already set up to up grade. 10/10 recommend

Superior Sound, Superior Light
Have had and installed a ton of Alpine gear over the years. Solid stuff. Very reliable, especially the head units and amp. If you want good clean reliable power they are great!

Worst bluetooth I've ever witnessed
Great head unit when the bluetooth actually works . I've had this for a little more than 3 weeks and I've had to factory reset it 2 times just to get my phone to connect. Other than that it's ok. Personally i like my 100$ pioneer better and probably gonna put it backing my car next time the bluetooth dosen't work
