Installed the camera and it did not work properly at first so I contacted the manufacturer. The contact, [email protected], responded promptly and diagnosed that a rectifier was needed because of the make of my car. Then she had it promptly sent to me and it fixed the problem and it was not difficult to install. The picture is very clear and the system has nice features, especially for the cost. It is a good value and along with the service deserves the 5 stars.

I installed this on my mother’s old car, which doesn’t have a back up camera. I think it’s a great option if you don’t mind splicing to a reverse light wire and finding cleaver ways to route wires through the trunk, behind trim panels and etc. once installed, it’s trouble free, because it attaches to your reverse light, it only goes on when your car is in reverse and otherwise the monitor is blank. (if you want you can wire it differently so that it’s always on when the car is on. I think the screen size is just about right, some people might prefer to order a model with a large larger, for example 7 inch screen, but I think a larger screen would’ve taken up too much space and potentially obstructed my view while driving. Overall, I’m very happy with this item. Back up cameras are one of the really useful things that newer cars have.

I particularly like the instant on or off when you press the button, and I have the power cord inserted into the cigarette lighter. After installation, I increased the brightness level, and that gives a very clear picture. The installation was OK, but I'm not mechanically inclined, so it wasn't simple, but I got it done without any major headaches. I did get a separate phone holder device for the monitor, because the one included in the package (using a suction cup) didn't attach well.

It was junk it had broken and used parts in the box!!

This is a great option for the price. There are quite a bit of wires with this that feel a little clunky. The suction cup could be a little better but you get what you pay for. I’d recommend this if someone just wants a cheap backup camera and doesn’t mind running a long cord to the back of your car. The cord doesn’t bother me but I have dogs so I had to get creative in securing it. I will say I had plenty of length for what I needed (Honda Accord). If I were to go back I would spend a little more money for a bit of a better system of installing the actual camera. For the money though, it’s seems to work fine. Picture quality and screen size are great.
