This battery charger works fine, the original charger that came with the Ryobi noise cancelling ear protectors would only charge a battery up to 3.9 volts - always kept the battery in a low charge state.

Same quality as most imported batteries, but at a more reasonable price. I use these in three different Ryobi tools and they have worked flawlessly for four or five years now. I use these mostly in cordless drill-drivers for small jobs around the house and restringing guitars several times a week. Restringing guitars and basses is surprisingly difficult for many small drivers and batteries. You must wind several times around each of six strings and each string requires substantial torque as we pull against the winder for tight windings. That constant energy and force can kill weak tools and cheap batteries. I have used numerous other cheap brands, but so far, DeWalt, Milwaukee and Ryobi tools have given us the best, most reliable service.Ryobi has the best value vs performance in the low cost category.Pros may need tougher tools for heavy duty work, but for many homeowners and small jobs, these are more than adequate. If you play guitar or help guitar students restring as I do, then I can wholeheartedly recommend Ryobi drivers that fits these batteries, this battery and this charger.I particularly like this model since it is small. You can fit the driver, the charger AND the peg-winding adaptor easily into any guitar case or gig bag. I like the small Ryobi tools so much, I got several of them, two of which remain in my portable tool kits; one of which always travels with me in the car. The other stays by the garage door for little jobs at home.Are they "the best?" No.Are they great for the money? Yes.The only reason I bought this was because I lost the charger and wanted a spare battery. So far, I haven't needed it.

Promptly charges the TEK4 Battery and has 3 bright LED lights to tell the exact status of the unit and/or the battery being charged. Includes English Francais and Espaniol instructions on a single sheet foldout.

It works successfully, I had a very old battery which is charged in minutes

Charges fine...but NOT the same original charger that came with my mini-drill/screwdriver...this one is one-piece design that plugs into wall.
