This is the second cup in this style I've ordered, so a bit of my review is going to be the same since I had some suggestions that I think should really be considered for this cup as well. The only thing different about this one is the little dinos on the outside of the cup, which are excellent quality and look really nice. My husband brought the cup with him to work and it gave a lot of his students a good laugh.This cup does a fantastic job of keeping my drink cold, and me hydrated but there are a number of things that are a bit problematic. There's a duck bill valve to keep water from going back out, but what that will do is create pressure inside the thermos if you have a hot beverage like coffee. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this cup for hot beverages at all. If you're buying it for that.. go for something else. It will create suction and the hot coffee will go up and out of the straw and make a mess.What I did, and you may not want to do this- is I cut the duck bill off. It's less "spill proof" I suppose, but I drink a lot of carbonated water and by cutting it off, I can now drink carbonated water out of the cup which otherwise would immediately come rushing out through the straw. I just don't fill the cup full, so I'll put 18oz of water and a bit of ice and it's perfect. When I'm not drinking out of it for more than 5 minutes I'll put the little cap on the end of the straw and then any pressure from the carbonation is able to pass through the little hole in the lid. Yes, this is not ideal most likely... but this cup gives so much dopamine and I really feel like it makes drinking water fun when I otherwise wouldn't even notice I'm thirsty... so I can't rate it bad.The price is a bit high when you consider the shipping as well, but if you're really bad about drinking enough water this might be a massive improvement to your health and overall life. Plus it's just fun and cute!The quality of everything seems really good, all the pieces come off easy and are made of silicone so they don't have any weird tastes and they should clean up well. Even the straw on the inside I believe is silicone. The handle doesn't actually have a gap like shown in the listing, there's a small one but it's not large like shown. Overall, I'd recommend this cup despite the things I said above, as long as it's not being used for hot beverages.

The cup leaks no matter what I try looks good we have the smaller cups and their work great my little boy loves watching the whale spray.

Very sturdy and cute tumbler snd of course the whale is adorable, however, its not practical. When drinking, I get SO many air bubbles that its uncomfortable. I may get 40% liquid and 60% air with each sip. Definitely would not recommend if you actually want to use it

Not a single leak! Lock the lid tightly. Very suitable for sports and travel. Whale design makes my daughter happy every day. Perfect!
