間違えなく速い!
サムスンのSSDをT5→T7シールド→T9と使ってきました。500MB→1TB→2TBと容量も増やしていきました。現状はUSBの古い規格なのでそもそも遅いのですが、それでも段階を重ねる毎に速さを実感。T5とT9なんかは圧倒的なスピードの違いがあります。今後パソコンを通信速度の速いものに入れ替えるので、更に本当の速さを実感できる予感がしています。T5、T7シールド、T9で悩んでいる方ならば迷いなく最初からT9が絶対のお薦めです!!

速いです！
写真データ用にT9 2TBを購入しました。MBA(M2)とTB4ケーブルにて接続し、T7とスピード比較しましたが、T9の方が書き込みで+15%、読み込みは+23%速かったです。システム上はUSB3.1、速度:最高10 Gb/秒と認識されていますので、USB 3.2 Gen 2×2(20Gb/秒)の性能をフルで生かす事はできません。USB 3.2 Gen 2×2の環境がない場合は、T7でも十分ですね。保護ラバーの分、T7と並べると一回り大きく、さらに重量は倍以上の120g程度。分かってはいたものの、少し惜しい。落下耐久性はT7と同じ2mでも良いので、ラバー無しアルミ筐体仕様が欲しいところです。
