Smith & Nephew D447 Jelonet Gauze Dressing, 5cm x 5cm, Pack of 50

Bought these when I took the skin off my forearm in a freak electric unicycle accident at 25mph.These dressings have been great to protect the wound while the skin grew back (took about 2-3 weeks). They stay in place well due to the impregnation with a moist gel, but they don't stick to the wound at all and are easy to remove when the dressing needs changing. You need to cover them with normal "non-woven absorbent pad" and a "gauze bandage" to absorb any discharge from the wound as it heals.I'm told they are also great for burns and while I haven't tested that, I suspect they are.

These are fantastic for superficial burns and scalds. If you apply then every day they keep the skin soft and reduce the redness ( they can’t prevent scaring but I truly believe my scars are much lighter because of these patches.

My elderly mother has paper thin skin, this product is very good at healing cuts and grazes. As it is non adhesive it prevents further damage to skin

Great for helping to keep keep bandage from sticking to exposed eye.

Amazing for cracked nipples from breastfeeding: ensures nothing sticks to the sore areas to allow it to heal

Great Gauze Dressing, not allergic to these ones, always need these in case of any breaks in the skin, have to be careful being diabetic. Really helped when I had an ulcer in my leg.
