I bought this when I was in a Rehabilitation facility, after major abdominal surgery and I love it. It worked perfectly well to refuel my nutrient-depleted body. It was given to me for free as part of my daily meals at the Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, after my surgery. It tasted great, so I decided to research it. I was pleasantly surprised. It's full of great vitamins and other nutrients, and the testimonials were great. It's also used for tube-feeding. It is a great product. It's a bit pricey though. But I need it to supplement my not-so-nutritrous meals here at the rehabilitation facility. I recommend it 100 percent!

I lost an excessive amount of weight during a severe depression. Then need an emergency surgery after which I lost another 5 pounds due to a restricted diet. When my diet was resumed I knew I needed high calorie/protein food so I could begin to replace the lost weight and heal. University Hospitals introduced me to Katefarms sole-source nutrition formula. First of all it tastes really good. Secondly an 11 oz container is 325 calories. I was having 3 per day.The protein is pea protein (not soy) and it is packed with beneficial ingredients. Pricey, but worth every penny. Our special son has been on a feeding tube for 18 years, seldom had any problems with it, started with total diarrhea first of March, 2024, continued on every time we fed him through the tube, tried other things, did scans, MRIs, grew stool samples, etc. The nutritionist at the hospital put him on Kate Farms, he's flourishing - loves the taste, holds his own cup and drinks it, has put back on about 5 pounds of 20 pounds he lost from March - June 1st. We are so blessed.

Recvd a sample of the 1.5 version from a friend for free and loved it; felt healthier after one small container. 1.0 has the same ingredients, just less protein but still high. 1.0 is the SAME product as their retail Komplete formula (confirmed by Kate Farms). 1.5 is $99 for 12. Komplete is $47 for 12. This vendor offers the exact same product for $37 w free ship...that's 20% off! At that price I can afford one a day each month...$3.30 per container!1.5 and 1.0 instantly healed my chronic Angular cheilitis (cracked corners of mouth) and keeps it away. I don't need an additional multivitamin any more which didn't heal that condition anyway. I know my body loves this formula! I have my 90 year old Mom on it now as she recently had immune system problems and can't swallow caps or tabs.Worried about delivery? I've ordered 6 shipments so far. I was in the hospital and these were what they gave me. I've had a ton of different brands and by far this is the best. I love the vanilla and chocolate flavors. But the vanilla is easier to get. They are a little more expensive but I need extra daily protein so I have these once a day. Fulling and pleasant. It's thicker than milk and creamer. But not gretty or chalky at all. I enjoy them.

My son is on a 6 food elimination diet to find the source of his EE. He cannot have dairy, gluten/wheat, egg, soy, fish, or nuts. Kate Farms Standard formula is a perfect addition to his meal plan. He is an active 17 year old and trying to keep weight on during this time is difficult. We use it to make shakes, adding fruit, cocoa, ice, and other healthy fats to beef up the calorie count. It was recommended by our Gastroenterologist. My son loves the taste, it is much better than a regular protein shake. His Dr says it is pretty perfect. I purchase it on Amazon to get a better price. It is quite costly for something that is necessary in his life right now. ($9.17/11 oz container at the Kate Farms website. On Amazon I found it for $3.17/11 oz) My son is currently sick with the flu and he'll probably need 2/day to help keep him from loosing a substantial amount of weight at this time. I'm really thankful for the product.

Kate Farms does not want to say or deny that there PEA protein the main ingredient comes from China. While I am sure some items coming from china are safe to consume. Historically they have failed the consumer. I do not want Pea proteins from there. You can do your research and see the issues with it. DO YOU WANT YOUR CHILD TO CONSUME HEAVY METALS?? Until they decide to source from a reputable place or post test results of there products from an independent source we will no longer purchase. The kids love it but wont give it to them just like McDonald's. Not going to happen! It should be a consumers right to make an informed decision on where the ingredients are coming from that are going into there bodies. Unless you start 3rd party independent testing and posting results of your product not going to purchase. You can afford to do so giving the cost of a case I can bet on that!
