The off-gassing of this bag is awful. I used to do triathlons and my wetsuits never smelled this badly. I hung it outside for six hours and it still reeks. It will definitely need to be washed. (Though I have no idea how since the directions are in an Asian language in which I do not speak or read. But 30C should be easy enough to stay under.)That being said, this (owl) is adorable, brightly colored and really thrills my near two year old. The size is perfect for a toddler. It will hold a couple changes of clothes for daycare purposes or toys for a road trip.I was a bit disappointed because it came out of the package with a crease through the eye and the wrinkle left a white line through the "pupil." (See photo) My child was unaware of the flaw, though, so I won't be able to return it without tears.The side pockets will absolutely not hold any water bottle we own. The widest and (of course) most commonly used is a Contigo gizmo (see photo). I imagine most juice boxes or pouches would, though.Our preschooler has a Skip Hop and its pocket is large enough for the Contigo water bottle.This should wash out much more nicely, though, as the Skip Hops seem to hold stains pretty well.

This is so precious! It's for our GreatGrand Daughter for part of her Christmas. She is going to be 3 this November. We added some coloring books, beginners crayons of all kinds, a tablet for painting, then some finger paints, some flash cards, just all kinds of little things. Stickers, she is going to have so much fun digging through it. It holds more than it looks. But just the right size for her to carry. It's perfect

I was hesitant to purchase this as several other reviews mentioned a strong odor. While there was a slight chemical smell when we first unpacked it, it faded quickly so that wasn’t an issue for us. It’s small (great for our 2 year old) but still fits a handful of diapers, change of clothes and a toy or book. The mesh pockets on the side are definitely too small for a cup, but I’m fine with that. It’s really cute and our daughter loves wearing it to daycare.

Adorable and affordable for a toddler birthday gift. Mild weird smell upon opening, but otherwise very cute. I purchased the owl for a gift and received the monkey as a gift.

It's so cute and perfect size but it smells very strong of plastic. I am hoping if I leave it outside for a few hours it will go away.

It is cute, however not durable. I ordered this in Dec 2017 today is May2018 and the pic below is it’s current state after putting it theough the wash. Seems like the stains just won’t come out. All though washable it doesnt wash well. I also tried wiping it down. Pathetic

The backpack looks as expected and seems to be good quality. That little patch on the bottom is clearly translated from another language and makes no sense though, lol! My daughter is very happy with it!

Adorable backpack! Well made. It does seem waterproof as we had coffee spill all over it and after I rinsed the outside (while zipped), the inside stayed dry. Our 2 yr old son loves it and doesn't want to take it off.
