Having a blanket like this is not something people usually think about, but I can tell you that this is so much better than laying towels down. Yes, it is pricey, but it is worth the price. First off, it is absorbant and I we have never had a problem with it leaking or anything of the kind. The color and the material also prevent it from any kind of staining. It is a little awkward to fold because of whatever material it is made of and it is pretty heavy, but I store it under the bed when not in use.I also love that you can just throw this in the washing machine and dryer with no problems and it comes out looking good as new! I fully recommend this blanket. I would recommend it in person more if it ever came up, but of course it isn't something I'd randomly bring up in person! Glad I can recommend it on here.

Other than the fact it has a crinkle to it as you move this thing does what it’s supposed to. It’s comfortable, very absorbent and much better than towels. It washes easily, folds up to towel size (We got a queen size for a king bed as we didn’t need the entire bed covered, just the splash zone) and is unobtrusive.

Unlike similar products, this works as advertise. No leak through and clean up is a breeze. Just be warned,excessive fluid build up can run off.

I have more than a few "waterslide" partners and this has kept my trips to the laundromat to a minimum, it isn't always easy to get solid footing or grip while using it. However if you have a partner who maybe gets a little performance shy because they don't want to make a mess, this will help ease their concerns and cut loose. I wish it was easier to dry after putting it through the wash but that is probably just a by product of how it works.

This is a non returnable item. I had purchased one of these blankets in the past and LOVE it. I got one today and somewhere along the line the blanket was swapped with a non water proof cheap walmart quality blanket that wasn't even the same size and probably cost $5.00. Amazon did issue me a return but for those unsuspecting people who buy this for the first time. Compare your blanket with the image on the packaging. It should have black trim around the blanket and the brand name tag on the same black edging. In addition to being waterproof and of high quality. It is isn't you have been scammed!

I highly recommend this product! It it worth every penny and saved my mattress. It doesn't soak through and is very high quality. It is easy to wash. I put it on gentle and dry on low heat and haven't had an issue with it yet. I even bring it with me to hotels when I travel.

This blanket is perfect! It gets washed at least once a week and still looks and acts like brand new. Update! Here we are 5 years later, still using it and washing it weekly, if not more. This blanket still feels and looks like the day my wife unwrapped it. 7 years ago!!

UPDATE:After reading more reviews we tried it label side up. Much more absorbent, but still not as absorbent as we would like. We still had to take it off half way through. Th Al Hod for the double (we literally put two) water proof mattress covers.Maybe I was far too excited (in every sense of the word) thinking something might finally work…but within 2 minutes we were swimming so we had to take it off. It does not absorb anything so there was literally a lake on our bed.The liquid was all over the floor and we had only just begun. Guess we will just have to double up on water proof mattress covers and pray.
