Great product. Very sturdy, well designed and well made. Opening it takes a little getting used to, but should get easier with use. Has a rubberised finish which stops it sliding around and enables a positive grip. Well worth the money. I've just ordered 2 more.

After reading the reviews on this product beforehand, I was only slightly put off from buying it as a lot of folk had complained about how fiddly it can be to open. I took the decision to buy it anyway, and I have to say that yes, it can be a little hard to open, but not overly so. If you get your fingers in the right position, it comes apart without too much difficulty. It does what it says on the tin. It is an ammo ‘vault’ and vaults aren’t supposed to be easy to get into. It does seem to be quite rugged in construction, and I’m sure if I dropped it fully loaded onto concrete that it will keep the ammunition snug and safe and probably not split or break. If I ever do this, then I’ll update the review. Once the ammo is in, I like that way I can lock the lid down and prevent any unnecessary rattling about. Suitable for ammo in a hurry? No. Suitable for keeping your ammo safe in transport? Absolutely. I may even buy another one….

Got my ammo vault amazing put my hornady varmint 223 in it as soon as I got it! They don’t barely move holds tight the construction of the product is heavy duty plastic with a rubber top and bottom love it only thing I can complain about is the shipping took 5 more days then it should have but besides that 5 star deff ordering more.

A great product in terms of quality but when it comes to design it underperforms. I tried to squeeze the top of the container, which is then designed to release the clamp that holds the top to the bottom and that did not work. I ended up using a screwdriver to release the top of the container. Maybe it will work much better after I “break” it in. The ad depicts a car driving over the case perhaps it was showing how to open the case in an easier manner?

This item is the best way I've found to carry/transport reloaded rounds. It accommodates many different size rounds and with its snap closure and foam in the lid you don't get any rattling. It is a little difficult to open but with practice you get better and IMO it's still the best on the market.There is a sticker on the side each case that shows a truck running over it. If you want to take that off, good luck. You simply don't pull this sticker off. It's on with a super adhesive I guess. I used a hair dryer and that helped but eventually I kept scratching and used goo gone to get the stickers/ adhesive completely off. Now they are perfect.

These cases are amazing! They are sturdy, compact, and my ammo is safe. These are the most solidly built ammo cases I have ever seen. I originally bought these for reloads, but now I actually pull store bought ammo out of the box and keep them in these. The cases are so strong and well cushioned that I know that despite going back and forth to the range, my ammo with be in pristine condition. Another great quality of these cases is how the lock-down. There isn't a clasp in the traditional sense. Instead, it has a tension ratchet like a zip-tie. This causes them not only to be secure, but also to compress down to take the least amount of space in both my gun case and in my home ammo locker. The individual spaces are the precise width of the ammo you order it for so they are neither tight (like in cheaper cases) nor too big causing them to rattle around. While it takes a little while to break-in/get a feel for the locking mechanism, these are hands-down the best case for rifle ammo for shooters that take their tools seriously.
