We just installed the Green Turf Reinforcement over some new laid sod. Our border collie loves to play frisbee in the back yard, and she doesn't seem to mind running on the mesh one bit. Hoping this will protect the new grass from wearing down. Will post again with an update after a few months. But so far we are extremely pleased.

This plastic mesh is a great product. The two yard breakers in the picture love to chase each other in the yard. They killed the grass and created a mud hole when it rains. I saw this product and thought it would work to bring my lawn back and prevent the dogs from brining mud into the house.As soon as I installed the mesh, no more mud. Their paws were clean, even after a rain storm. Make sure you cut the grass short before installing the mesh. I didn't cut it low enough but the grass grew through anyway.Sorry for the last picture. Works great. Won't stop super heavy traffic areas from going bald. My dog runs the same path all the time and under the kids swing are still bald. Used way more staples than I expected. I was worried about sharp corners or the ends scratching bare feet but doesn't seem to be a problem. The grass and thatch give a nice buffer so it doesn't feel like you are walking on anything other than a lawn. It has stopped the divots from my my dog when she takes off after the ball.

Buy three times as many stakes as you think you’ll need. And it will still lift up in unexpected spots. Don’t forget that this is more for short term parking or passage not long term. And it is slippery, you’re tires will spin easily.

Delivered within days in great condition. Easy to roll out and cut to fit yard. Anchored with many more stakes than expected - I used about 250 stakes for a 25' square patch of lawn to really anchor down the plastic. After two weeks of spring growth, can barely see the plastic. Mows easily and the dogs don't tear up the sod.

Easy to roll out, cut and install. Only been down for a month but grass is already growing through it so it’s working as designed.

I purchased this to protect a high traffic area in the yard from turning to mud due to my dogs. It is doing a wonderful job protecting the grass and keeping dirt out of the house.
