Great leg cast cover.
This cover is working great for us. My son's cast was pretty long and we tried other covers that were not long enough. This cover works great. The elastic is not too tight on the leg and seals from the water. As a tip, when putting it on, roll the elastic strap on top of the plastic and only when fully slid on the cast, roll it back over onto the skin. Pulling the elastic over the cast material is not easy. The same would apply for taking it off. Just roll the elastic back over the plastic and the cover comes right off.

This has been a lifesaver.
Thank goodness I decided to risk buying this. It doesn't leak and honestly, I can't imagine that it would leak. The plastic is really thick. I would imagine that anyone having issues may have bought the wrong size.I'm using this for a toddler in a full leg cast. Her pants are normally size 4T and this is long but fits just fine. I would say this product would work on up to a 6 or 7 year old as long as they're fairly skinny, since the opening is tight. Also, you definitely need to understand how to put this product on. You roll the top down so the seal isn't actually touching skin, then pull this cover over the cast, then unroll the top again once it's in place. If you try to just force a leg in this thing it won't work; that's the point. Keeps everything out.My toddler is so happy she got to go in the bathtub with this. She played for half an hour.

Doesnt Fit Full Leg Casts
I never write reviews because usually people only have negative things to say... but, I feel like I need to say something because if this particular product doesnt work, it can REALLY have negative effects on a persons health.I bought this because my three year old son broke his leg and had to get a FULL leg cast, which started from the upper UPPER thigh (so near the groin area), and ended all the way to his toes. I say this because this is supposed to be a FULL leg cast waterproof cover, which it IS full leg length, but not width. The black "lip" didnt fit past his mid thigh area. At all. Mind you, hes three, so there are far larger kids that exist, and Im concerned for those who buy this product for their five year old, and come across the same issue. I had to cut the lip a little because there was no way on getting it up all the way to the cast.It worked good for about one or two uses, and then one day. I have to bathe him because having a three year old with a full leg cast on a slippery bath surface really scares me, so I would fill the bath tub just enough to where he can sit in the water and not be cold. One day, I was bathing him, and realized that the leg condom was stuck to his cast (meaning, the air got out and was letting water in). I took him out, and his cast was soaked. Not dripping, but as if moisture and water got in.Now, fortunately this occurred on a Wednesday, but it occurred at night. I say this because where I live (near DC), there are ZERO ER's that recast children so small, specially on a full leg cast. I have to go to a Orthapedics, who, ARE NOT open on the weekends, nor during late hours. So, he had to wait until the next day to get his cast changed.I spent about an hour with my hair dryer doing my best to dry the cast off. I also cut up tampons, pads, and diapers in hopes that they would suck up some moisture. Which they did, but I couldn't stuff, nor obviously, keep those items in his cast for very long.By the time we got to the doctors the next day, his skin was soooooo wrinkly, smelly, white, and peeling off.Im giving this product a 4 star, because I know that whoever made this product did it with their best intention. For some its a life savor, and it was for me for the first two times. But, I would somewhere in the main profile description, make a note that it might not fit all leg width.Parents, this is a good product to purchase, just be mindful and dont fully trust it all the time. After the first two times of it working like a charm, I trusted it and wasnt really worried of anything going wrong. And if, like me, this is your first time with a toddler with a broken anything, as soon as you find out theyre getting a cast put on, have a back up plan. Conduct your research on/if any hospitals near you do after hour emergency cast replacements, and if they dont, plan shower times diligently (so during the weekdays and before 3pm) -like that, in case something happens, you have enough time to call a doctor, and they have enough time to see you before they close- because last thing you want, is to have a toddler, or anyone, unable to change a wet cast for more than 12 hours.

Great Price and a good peoduct
We used 4 different sizes/ brands of these covers in 2019 for 3 surgeries and 1 broken femur. This was, by far, the least expensive product we purchased. With the price I wasn't expecting much, but I was surprised. This was a good product that lasted the entire time we needed it. My daughter said that it was comfortable and we never had a leak. Definitely worth the money.

Works on a 28 lb little girl
When we got it for our 2 year old with a cast from toe to nearly the hip, I thought “there’s no way such a big cover will work on such a small kid!” But it has worked perfectly every time. Never a leak so far. Our child is small (under 30 lbs) and the seal at the top is tight enough to do the job. It’s very long but that doesn’t matter. Good item.

Did not fit over a child's leg cast with a 15" circumference...
Product seems great, if you can get it on... Nice quality plastic and rubber opening at the top, but it would not fit over my son's leg cast. The opening at the top was too small to stretch over the main part of the foot cast and the heel of the cast. It would go over a very small child's cast, perhaps, but would be much better suited for covering a bandaged leg, rather than a cast. My son is 5" tall, and his leg cast measures 8" from toe to heel (under foot), 14" from heel/ground to top (above calf muscle), with a 15" circumference around the calf and a 17" circumference around the heel to front of ankle. It will not fit over that size cast regardless of the technique you use.

Works beautifully
Exactly what I was looking for. My son is about 50 inches and 60 lbs- with a full leg cast almost to his groin and this fit. Initially it is hard to get up because the elastic part is tight but it keeps the water out! I can shower with him and the cast is dry. I haven’t taken him into a pool- just not brave enough. The only thing i would caution is to monitor the foot part. My son’s cast is fiberglass and he walks around with it- but with it comes wear and tear. I think the edges of his cast are sharp- and it made small puncture holes on my first cast cover. So i make sure to cover his cast with a sock before putting him in the cast cover . I reenforced my second one with tape at the base- the only thing I may recommend is to reenforce the foot - but it works perfectly and exactly as advertised Thank you
