Amazon Essentials Women's Jersey Regular-Fit Ballet-Back t-Shirt Dress (Previously Daily Ritual)

I usually take a M (form fitting) or L (regular fit) in Amazon stretchy dresses but got this in XL, it is very loose. I will launder and dry regularly (warm/hot) to see if it’ll shrink. But for now it’s very cool, thin material but not see through, it’s my fault for getting the size that was on discount lol. But I love it, the back makes it interesting. No pockets. Very comfortable on a hot day!Edit: I laundered (actually used cool water/tumble dry low) and it shrunk probably half a size… and I like it a lot better!

This is a good option for a casual dress at a reasonable price. It is rather like a long t-shirt with a scoop in the back. I would not wear it to work or even out in public at all because of the casual/back-revealing qualities, but I also understand that these are not issues (perhaps even desirable) for many other women, depending upon lifestyle. However, I bought it to sleep in, and it is perfect for that purpose, as it is soft, comfortable, and stretchy. I find that the sizing is much larger than expected. I normally wear a 10-12 in dresses, and the medium is quite loose on me; the sleeves fall off of my shoulders when I move, for example. Again, I bought it as a nightgown, so that's not such an issue for me. If I buy another, I will just get a small. I would recommend this if you're looking for a comfortable nightgown or very casual dress.

I went on amazon to purchase a few different t-shirt dresses from different companies.I work from home so I wanted to wear something comfortable day to day, but still look nice when I leave the house for errands.This dress is soft, and in ways more "elegant" than your average t-shirt dress because of the lower neckline, and backline. It's so easy to slip on and still look presentable. I found it very flattering for my body. i am 6ft tall, about 180 pounds and purchase a large. If you are also 6ft tall but weigh less, you may want to consider a medium. the dress ends hits the middle of my upper thigh. Not too short.

Would probably not use it as a dress. It is very thin. I’m using it as pajamas.

Love this dress! It's cool and comfortable, doesn't wrinkle, hangs/drapes nicely on the body and can be worn with the scoop neck in the front or the back. Material is not see-through at all. I'm 5'7" and it hits me at the top of the knee. Can be dressed up or down with accessories and you really could wear it for anything from errands to the office. Would be great for traveling too! Hand wash cold, hang dry. (Could also wash it in a lingerie bag in the machine on cold, still hang dry.)Bought the XL based on bust size, but I think I could have worn a Large. If you're in between sizes, size down.It doesn't have pockets, but that's actually a plus as they can make this sort of dress hang oddly or appear at your waist or thigh instead of the hip.Highly recommend getting a few colors!

I just wore the dress for the first time today and was amazed. I am 5'4 and usually wear a 16-18, and the XXL was the perfect fit for me. It skims my body, so it doesn't hang loose like a tent, but it also doesn't cling or look tight anywhere. It hit me just below the knee. I wore it casual with knockoff Toms and no jewelry, but could see it being dressed up with dressy sandals or pumps and nice jewelry. The neckline is low on me so I wore a cami under it to fill in the neckline a little because I don't like to show cleavage. I purchased the moss green and it seems more like a forest green to me, very deep almost black green. The dress is super comfortable and flattering, and I wish I had one to wear every day.

I thought 100% cotton from this brand would be really soft and comfortable, but these shirts are pretty scratchy. The seams are very pronounced, so if you have sensory issues I don't recommend them. The fabric also isn't as thick as I would expect from a nightgown, it's sort of like inexpensive t-shirt material. Overall disappointing.
