In The SwimAlgaecide for Swimming Pools – Green and Yellow Algae Preventative – Non-Clouding, Non-Foaming Formula – 10% Quaternary Compound - 1 Quart

This product is very effective, I used it every year to re start my pool and after every heavy storm. It gets rid of the algae as intended. Just make sure you to get a sud removal kit, if you have a lot of algae. The bi product from killing the algae, is a very sticky grease sud, that can make your day very difficult if you are not ready.

Just what needed

I have bought a few bottles before. It has worked great. This bottle is different. It doesn't get the pool water as clear as the others. I seem to be using more. And the color is not as bright as the others. This one seems like tinted water. May be end of the batch. I will buy again and see what happens.

Remove green algae

I used at least 4 bottles of this product in August and while it worked when added to the pool, within 3 days we had algae again. We used extra shock, and had the water tested. The chemical levels were good but for some reason we still kept getting algae. We finally gave up and closed the pool. Too expensive to add one of these every 3 or 4 days, even after re-booting the whole filter and using new DE powder. Next year I will try a different brand.

OMG - Finally, FINALLY, something to battle and win the yellow mustard algae war. I've been fighting to, at best, a temporary tie using Yellow Out and a lot of filter time and brushing, my god the brushing. Anyway, I purchased this about a year and half ago and somehow forgot I had it. About a month ago, I poured two quarts into my 26k gal pool and the walls look great. There is barely a hint of yellow algae - if even that - at a transition point between step or seat and wall. It used to be my attached spa would get dark yellow walls after a week or days, depending on the heat, following a Yellow Out treatment. Now, I don't know if the algaecide is the cause or it's just coincidence, but all of the water skeeters/skimmers (you know those bugs that ride on the surface tension) are all gone too. They weren't a problem, per se, but you don't want bugs in your pool. I might see one in any given day, then none. To wrap this up, we just went through a heat wave and the pool got up to 90 degrees which would normally be a yellow algae nightmare. Nope. Pool looks awesome. I'm reordering just to have some available.

This stuff really works when used as directed. I shopped around and this was the best price I could find when comparing apples to apples. You/we are actually lucky to get it. Because of the pandemic and the O,Biden adm. you couldn,t find this stuff never mind buy any!
