5 years later, this monitor is still reliable
I come to write this review after owning this monitor for 5 YEARS. Yes, 5 years. By now this technological marvel is basically considered ancient in the tech world. But you know what? It still works GREAT. It still turns on, outputs the images from my computer in crisp clear color, and has never failed me since I got it. I remember being worried initially because I thought shipping a larger electronic device is a bad idea but boy was I wrong. In this day and age, shipping has become so safe...unless of course your delivery driver chucks your package like a newspaper boy.

So great I ordered 2!
Our original monitor died a painful death. We wanted to get a bigger monitor, but they are really pricey. We also wanted the usb hub in the back and wide screen which these have, so we ordered 2. Fantastic price and still cheaper than 1 bigger monitor. No issues, everything works, color is great, resolution is still great. No regrets with this purchase at all.

Great for the price.
We have been using this monitor with our Mac Mini with no problems at all. It has a nice picture and would be a great size for gaming. The only issue is that occasionally it goes to static for a few seconds before showing a picture after being turned on/woke up. Not detrimental to performance in any way, just has a very short lag time when being turned on (not nearly as bad as some tvs!).

P2210 - stay away from this monitor
It may seem like a bargain, but I certainly would recommend choosing a different monitor. If you prefer Dell, for example you can buy U2210HM, which is modestly priced and has much, much better quality.Dell P2210 monitor cannot be recommended for extended, serious computer use, perhaps only for movie watching. Unfortunately I had to use this monitor at work for three weeks. I have diligently attempted to tweak the settings, and all to my dismay. Neither in dynamic contrast mode, nor in manual mode settings I was able to achieve good viewing angle and clarity on this monitor. To begin with, P2210 has CFL backlight, which tells you that is has been designed very long time ago. I know, you may say there are a lot of fine monitors with fluorescent backlight still out there, but this is not the only and not the greatest problem. Its viewing angle is only 160, and in reality picture gets blurred and colors shift to something ugly even at much smaller viewing angles. The resolution of P2210 monitor is only 1680x1080 pixels, which is far, far below standard 1920x1080 for 1080p HD. That is especially pronounced when working with text. For anyone who does a lot of text editing this monitor certainly should be avoided! Even though it brags with fast response time, there is some problem with the circuitry that causes fine details like text to get blurred. This is especially noticeable when looking at a slight angle, or when scrolling through large files. Then text gets very blurred and causes eye strain beyond normal.Bottom line - it is not worth your money. Spend a bit of time and find an Ultrasharp Dell for a good price, or a Samsung monitor with normal 1920x1080 resolution and LED backlight. Because flat panel displays last very long time, this will make a lot of difference for you for the next few years!

Decent monitor, but I would look elsewhere
I already own one of these monitors and I bought another one to match it. It's a great monitor if you keep it in landscape mode.Unfortunately, in portrait mode the viewing angle gets messed up. The colors change, and there's a weird gradient on the screen caused by the difference in viewing angle between your left and right eye.Eye strain can become an issue in portrait mode. With text your eyes are seeing two different brightnesses, so when I study I keep the text I am reading the most off of this monitor and only leave reference documents on it. With graphics work your eyes are seeing two different colors so you have to drag the work onto another monitor. The monitor I received off Amazon also stopped working after 6 months. I replaced it with an Asus 24" Asus VS247H-P 23.6-Inch Full-HD LED-Lit LCD Monitor

OK monitor
Nice screen if you are looking straight at it but it fades fast if seen from an angle. Also the power button is placed so that it is easy to accidentally brush against it and turn the monitor off.

Works like a charm
I used this monitor as a cheap 90-degree control monitor (1050 x 1680).The stand allows for easy maneuverability of the monitor itself and the ports are all easily accessible. So far no problems but I am very enthusiastic about the price I got ($125) for such a nice monitor & stand combo.

Good deal
I already had one of these and wanted a second one for another computer. The first one came as part of a Dell package I ordered. When I saw this one, I knew it was a good deal and a very good monitor. If they still have them, get yours.
