The beams to place into the bottom bar was too large. I have major scratch marks and peeled black paint to shove the bar into the bottom portion. It took the two of us and we both found it very difficult. The tolerance of the bar was manufactured a little too wide. I was one of the first to buy this product on Amazon before any reviews existed and was waiting for a swing set to appear. I've seen others come and go on Amazon. Since my purchase and reading the reviews, it looks as though things have improved with this swing set. Besides installation, I like it. I would have preferred it to be a two person seat but I find it uncomfortable to sit with my feet off. I usually lie the entire length because of my height. I'm a 5'9" slender female.I just read the description and it looks like the material has changed. My frame is painted black and it looks like now they offer powdered bronze. Interesting. Sucks for me.

Good idea design needs work.1. Swing travel movement is small before it hits the frame, constantly knocks the back frame.2. Cushion is too thick reduces the sitting depth. I’m 5,9 166lbs and it is a little to shallow when we sit on it.3. The spring connections make noise with any kind of swinging motion very annoying.Good idea but design is lacking.

I absolutely love this chair. We live in the northern part of the US, and we are still enjoying it for fall!!The seller was absolutely outstanding to work with, and I would highly recommend him and this beautiful chair.PS photo is not taken directly straight on, due to shadow

AND AFTER 2 1/2 YEARS MY CHAIR IS DISINERGRATING. It is plastic, not natural wicker. So disheartening.SO NO, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ITEM.
