It is bigger than the 14L Le Creuset Goose Pot dutch oven, and it is 5x less expensive!I love this thing, it is the best biggest dutch oven, at the best price.Just lean to season cast iron, and this will last generations.

This 12 quart iron roasting pan arrived well packed and in perfect condition. It's preseasoned and ready to use after you wash off a small amount of oil from the factory. For those that complained that the lid doesn't nest for storage, simply save the original packing material and you can easily flip the lid and store it in the pan with the foam spacer, just as it was shipped. It's made in China. The alligator on the lid and the one on the underside of the pan are attractive. My only nitpick is that I don't like the lid's handle attached with screws; it should have been cast as one piece.

We love this, we stopped using our Crock-Pot it cooks food better then slow cooker. Sometimes older is better.

I need to replace my old roasting pan and need one that would hold about a 20lb turkey. I have found that Bayou products to be extremely well made and out of very good quality. Cooked a 15ib turkey for Thanksgiving and had room to spare even with a roasting rack placed in the bottom of the roaster. One word of caution, it is heavy, but dud... it is cast iron... heavy duty cast iron... but nothing I can't handle and would not hesitate to purchase another which I will not have to because this one will out live me and then my three boys can fight over it after I am gone...

I love the pot, the fit of the lid and the overall seasoning. The lid handle is loose and makes removing the lid while it’s hot a little worrisome.

Fantastic! Big, heavy, flawless. Bought it for my nephew who loves cooking with cast iron, grilling, & smoking foods. Its oval shape & domed lid allows this 12 quart roaster to fit nicely into the smoker. Holds an 18 lb turkey. Not only well made, but actually beautiful. Strikingly so. Deep, black color with alligator logo on top of lid & on the bottom of the roaster. Thinking of ordering one for myself!

Awesome cast iron roasting pan. Already seasoned. Super heavy but wasy to use.
