After reading several books on the job interview subject, from the "list of phrases to use" to the "replies to the usual questions"... I think that this is by far the best.It accomplishes what it promotes in the title: help you prepare for anything you can find in an interview. Not to be dishonest with yourself and the interviewer doing so. And don't let you be pushed back by any disrespectful recruiter.

Interesting. Direct. Informative. Challenging. Inspiring.Just what I needed before taking a significant step forward.I definitely recommend this book.

It's a practical book. I believe the answers in the is can help me in many interviews.

1 job application, 1 interview, 1 job offer! This book is fantastic! I put an application for a job at the last minute and had less then 2 weeks to prepare for the interview. I read it from cover to cover and spent the time doing the reflective exercises. I was told I had interviewed the best! I start what I hope to be my dream job in May 2017. Thanks. I got this book after 4 months of job hunting, getting lots of interviews but not getting job offers. I had a feeling I wasn't performing well on the interviews so I bought this book and it helped me a lot to understand what recruiters look for when asking particular questions and how to prepare my answers. I must say I felt much more confident at the next interview I attended after reading the book, and I also got the job. However 4 stars is because the book doesn't cover very well questions on managing projects, complex project management and people/team management.

I had been job hunting for a while and was getting knocked back all the time. I thought I was doing pretty good interview prep - but then I bought this book. Turned out my previous interview prep was rubbish to say the least. This book is so easy to read and gave me loads of great ideas. My first interview after buying this book, and guess what I got the job! Not only did it prepare me for the dreaded interview questions but I also felt much more confident and prepared going into the interview. Thanks James Reed, I owe you a beer!

Great informative book. Easy to read and flick through the relevant sections. Great alternative suggestions for answers to stock questions. I brought this book for my son who had been to a few interviews, with no success, as he wanted to move from where he was working and I believe going through it making notes the night before another interview, they asked all the questions he made notes on, helped him get the job, a brilliant career move that he will be starting shortly!!

This book was very well written. I needed the job that I had an interview for in November,and this was the ideal book to prepare. You can adjust the examples and techniques to suit the role that you're applying for. I read the book and then went back over what questions catered my interview role in the aviation industry. Put the time in and the results speak for themselves. I felt comfortable at the interview ,well researched and well prepared. I'm delighted to say that I got the job with our national airline . Thank you Mr. Reed!. If you never buy another book in your lifetime buy this one.!
